The team signed former New Orleans Saints receiver Lil’ Jordan Humphrey to a one-year deal per Ian Rapoport. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Interesting player. He's a former undrafted free agent who was with the Saints for three years, with last year being the one where he saw the most action. He had 13 receptions for 249-yards and two touchdowns in 2021, with seven of those 13 receptions going for 20+ yards, including one for over 40yds.

He’s physically a big player and he’s listed at 6’4″, 225-pounds. He essentially creates additional competition at the lower part of the roster, which pits him against players like Ty Montgomery, Kristian Wilkerson and Tre Nixon, with Nixon having finished with an impressive showing during the team’s recent minicamp. The one thing I couldn't find (yet) was if he plays special teams, which is obviously going to be key for whoever ends up winning out between those guys.

last year he played 45 ST snaps, 17% of the ST plays in the 10 games he was active... so he has some ST experience...

Bill is building his practice squad roster. This is another example of someone, probably not good enough for another team to go after, but maybe ok in a pinch when a couple of players are inevitably dinged.

You missed one:

He’s behind Meyers, Agholor, Bourne, Parker, and Thornton. Maybe battling Montgomery, Nixon and Wilkerson for a possible WR6 or more likely a PS spot.
