Wide Receivers depth chart

Are you too stupid to understand that his first year Brady was basically ignoring him, his second year he had Cam I can't Hit the Broad Side of a Barn Newton and his third year, when he had a reasonable facsimile of a QB he started scoring TDs? You remind me of the idiots who wanted to ship JE out of here every year.

You have always been dumb as a rock &

Earth to Rochist…… 130th is not good

2 Touchdowns from a starter usually makes that player a bench player.

I am hoping their new commitment to speed puts Meyers on the bench where he

Lazar is against extending Jakobi for over $8M apy. He likes the guy but doesn't think he's an efficient high volume receiver. He doubts the Pats extend him.

Check it out, @ashley1992 makes a cameo right after the Jakobi talk. Lol

Thanks.... They do a great job talking about the Patriots on a weekly basis. These podcasts are a must watch/listen for any Patriot fan. Would definitely recommend!!

Agreed... There's NFW that Meyers should make more than Bourne in 2023.

And he's right. Only a few numskulls think otherwise.
He doubts the Pats extend him.
As they shouldn't. If he's expecting more than Bourne, who is way more efficient at $5m per year (and it's not even close), it would be a huge mistake signing him.

I presume that there isn't much of a signing bonus.

For me, this affirms that Agholor or Myers will go.

I wouldn't read that much into it... Dude's kinda slow, as in like really slow... He ran even worse at his pro day than he did at the combine... Should've stayed in school for his 21-year-old senior season... Likely nothing more than Parker insurance during TC, or as maybe a PS candidate afterwards...

Who on PatsFans is reading "much into it"? Just curious.

If Parker is injured, we have
Bourne, Agholor, Myers and Thornton

That's plenty since there will likely be a Ster who is an emergency 5th WR (as Gunner was last year).
===================
To need Humphrey (or Nixon for that matter), there would need to be two issues among the top 5.

Bill keeps adding bodies to the offense. I don't get it. Trade imminent?

Nah, scout team probably needs some more people to throw the ball to

Jakobi on the right side of red lines. Bourne w/ just under 2 yds per route run but not targeted enough when pressed. See where Parker falls.

His cap hit is $4 million this year.

Unless Meyers is breaking the bank, they should be able to work out a cheaper number on a long term contract.

For example, Bourne, received 3 years $15 million and the cap hit last year was 3 million.

How much more would/should they give Meyers?
As I mentioned elsewhere, the basic issue is that they have to do one of two things, one of which they can't do (raise his cap hit), and one they don't seem to want (pushing large amounts of money into future years).

Looking at that list, we have three 1st Rders, one 2nd Rder and a 3rd Rder (Montgomery). What other NFL team can boast of that much talent and depth?
