The more this stretches on the more Alan Robinson could be the target.

Feels like there are still a lot of good players left in the market. If we manufacture some cap space, could be some good bargains to be had

Bill needs to listen to me. Find a trade for Agholor/Harry and use the $11.7M in cap savings to sign Robinson. A true WR#1.

They can literally free up 30M in a few hours. And that is without adding years or anything. Simple Salary to SB conversions for people like Henry, Judon, Mason, etc.
I feel like this has been discussed ad nauseum so not sure why some are panicking or not understanding the facts of how easily the Pats can create not just 30M but almost double it if everything fell into place. Just because they haven't created more cap space doesn't mean they can't or they won't. They will because they pretty much have to. They just don't have to right this second.

Ya maybe they don't spend big but just because we haven't heard of anything during the tampering period doesn't mean anything. Could be simply Pats are doing some cap maneuvering while trying to hash out deals with agents that work for the 2022 cap.

Cannot believe BB has not thought of that

They've got 25.5 hours left, just like all teams.

So far FA is going as expected for the Pats. I fully expected JC to be gone. Disappointed we couldn't keep Karras.
But BB has brought back the important pieces we value (DMac, Folk, White, Hoyer, Ferentz), and let go of some old/useless ones (Wino, Collins, King, Langi). And the first new import, Wilson, is exactly what we need - new mobile ILBs.
Only essential left to bring back - Meyers.
Next "likes" to bring back - Bentley, Jakob, Bolden (cheap insurance), Gunner (since Berrios signed with Jets).
Unsure - HT, T. Brown (too expensive for the reliability)

I would call the draft pick depleted broncos and offer our second for Jeudy.
Then I would call the cardinals and swap Harry for Isabella.
Then I would call Jac and trade for Shenault.
Then I would call the Raiders and trade Agholar for a fourth rounder.
Then I would sign Myles Jack and Chandler Jones.
Then I would shop Wise for a late round pick.
Then I would use that money to go get Trey flowers back.
Then I would sign Trent Brown again.
Then I would sign Rasoul Douglas.
Then I would sign Darious Williams.
Then I would Focus on DL and best player available in the upcoming draft.
God to be the GM for one day.

Lol at Ferentz.

Collins, King & Langi are FAs. They weren't let go. Some say Langi was already extended (not sure).

Wilson is a SpTer.

Even if we bring back everyone you want, how is this a better team than last season?

We tendered Meyers at the 2nd round level....nobody is gonna be making him an offer now.

That's all well and good, but every one of those moves requires cooperation from someone else (be it team or player). You don't just get to walk around and drop these players in a basket like you're getting Tostitos for a Super Bowl party.

R-E-L-A-X....

Team building takes some time... if we still have the same team in place after the draft, then I'll be *****ing.....

Til he runs the wrong route and Tom freezes him out.
Like my wife when I’m watching trailer park boys.
Haha we shall see. He did have faith in a trackstar (Grayson) after the whole AB fiasco so all depends if he can get open
