It‘s the right thing to do, only referencing the Bucs right now. I’m guessing he’ll do some things in due time to re-associate himself with the Patriots. If he tried to mix it together, the Bucs would seem like an afterthought.

He will come around to thanking Pat’s Nation, the Krafts and Belichick. It just wasn’t in the long rambling original post.

I don’t think any athlete has given me more joy and happiness than Tom Brady. 20 years of greatness, 20 years of dominance, Just unbelievably successful and joyous ride. We will never see something like this in our lifetimes. Not just unmatched winning football, but all the statistical records that may never be broken. Tom gave us SIX Lombardis, I still pinch myself every time I think about that. Tied for the most Lombardis by any team. Tons of credit goes to Belichick, him and Brady were true partners. But Brady was on the field making all of those throws.

Just unbelievably grateful to Tom. I’m just not eloquent enough to express it in words.

Happy for him, but I was indifferent to the success of Tampa Bay. Not my team. Always said once he's done, I'll be the first one cheering when he gets the red jacket, statue, shrine, and wing in the Pats HOF.

I'm sure there will be plenty of time for Brady to be honored back in New England as a retired player.

It will be 4 years minimum (time it takes him to be eligible for the Pats HOF) unless Kraft calls him up and wants to do a number retirement ceremony.

I can understand the emotional connection that a lot of fans, including myself, have with Brady and the desire to see him go out as a Patriot.

No matter how he retires, it won't wipe away the 20 years of absolute dominance he had with the Pats.

He was still under contract as a Buc though. I get it it's a little weird of not mentioning the Patriots, but I agree with Ice the Patriots/Brady have a plan . At least I hope so
