He just blamed the loss on the refs and to make things matter worse he didn’t condemn fans throwing **** at the refs and he doubled down on that statement.

If this was a pats player Roger boy would probably take away our drafts.

its not just that he didn't condemn the fans. he went on a 2 minute monologue about how it was disrespectful to the players, who come to work every sunday and work hard, and to do that to someone that is just trying to do their job is disrespectful and morally wrong, and blah blah blah. And then someone tells him "actually they were throwing trash at the refs" and he basically said good, kudos for throwing **** at the refs.

What an absolute ****ing hypocritical way to handle things. like Actually dumb as rocks.

It reminded me of the scene in the matrix where the one captain is like "your not doing anything with my ship" and then the lady was like "fine he can take my ship" and the first dude was like "no you cant do that" and the ladys all "no way your going to tell me what to do with my ship, after all that ******** you just said"

Yes, he’s nuts. He said something weird a couple years ago I can’t remember what.

I haven't followed all the social media crap on this one. But I saw the play. He was leading a major 4th quarter comeback and had just run for 17 yards. Ref bumps him and then the clock runs out as the ref sets the ball as time expires.

I'd give Dak a pass on this one. He's a competitor who feels like the ref lost his chance at one last play.

.

Even with the fact that they basically ran into this same issue earlier in the game, I can cut him a pass on this... I guess I just don't understand what journalists expect players to say after a loss lol. Dude was pissed about losing, let's move on.

Except that it's up to Dak to understand the ref (actually, the umpire) has to address the ball before each play. He also has to understand from what direction the ump will be running.

He crapped the bed last night, and then rolled around in it after the game. I'd say it's more the sign of an irrational person than a competitor.

Great finish. What were the Cowboys thinking? Take two shots at the end zone instead of running the ball at the end.

The sun will rise. The sun will set. And Jerry Jones gets to fire another head coach,

He's a professional NFL QB who makes a butt load of money, part of his job is to know the rules. One of those rules is that you hand the ball off to the ref, the ref sets the ball, not your center!
Also, I am hearing that it was supposed to be about a 10 yard run, get to line, spike the ball to make the pass to end zone more manageable. He ran too far and ate up all the time by running for 17 yards.
Yes, the play call is questionable, but he screwed it up big time!

That he was a good QB.

Loser to blame refs for a loss after 59min50s of complete BS loser play. You had ample chances and you blew it. You couldn’t even get to 20 points, Dak.

Overpaid and overrated. Fits perfectly with Dallas.

Or in a sane world where the fundamental rule that EVERY play requires the ref (specifically) to spot the ball was understood as...well...a fundamental rule Dak could have looked for the aforementioned ref and handed him NOT his center the ball. Something virtually every other player knows to do in circumstances when time is exceedingly tight. If Dak wants to hold someone accountable for his 'lost' second he needs to start with the man in the mirror. In an efficient coincidence he could also end there.

Dallas always finds new and interesting ways to break their fans hearts. Imagine running up the middle with 18 seconds left to play and thinking not only that was a good idea but one that was practiced all season with Dak handing the ball to his center instead of the ref. LOL

He played like dog sh*t most of the game... Did the Competitor talk about that? (honest question)

Gotta love the narrative that the Cowboys woulda won! They still needed a highly unlikely 24 yard TD pass. They got absolutely **** lucky with Bosa and Warner injured, somehow got a second life when the Niners first down got overturned (short by a millimeter) and then lucked out when Jimmy snapped the ball as Williams was setting.

I know a lot of people have a sympathetic view on Prescott. He's always seemed to me like a phony though.

The 21st century Cowboys are a farce, and that final play was the apotheosis of the post-Jimmy Johnson Cowboys. A dumb play, executed badly, at the end of 59:46 of utter clown-ball to choke away a home playoff game.

It's like poetry, it rhymes.

In retrospect Tony Romo of all people might be the least shameful part of the last generation of Cowboys football. At least he was fun to watch, and bobbling a slippery football as a holder that one time his first season looks positively Bradyesque by comparison to whatever the hell Dak just did.

They had the #1 offense in the league by points, and their defense was top-5 or even top-3 by most metrics. No one is even surprised they lost because they’re an ingrained loser franchise now. Can’t believe their SB wins were 30 years ago. In 1992 when they won the SB with Jimmy Johnson, it had only been 25 years since the old Packers dynasty.
