Here's my stab at it. If I don't know what to grade someone I'll just say so instead of guessing. Also won't bother grading players who literally didn't contribute much to the team this year. Also not factoring in what these guys are paid, we all know BB overpaid big time for a lot of guys but I'm just going by how they played relative to expectations not what they're worth. Hope I'm not forgetting anyone.

QB:
Mac Jones: B. Nice rookie season. Definitely regressed tho in the last quarter of the season for whatever reason.
Brian Hoyer: ?
Stidham: ?

Running backs:
Bolden: B
Harris: A-. Wish he could stay on the field.
Rham: A
Jakob Johnson: ?
JJ Taylor: ?

Receivers:
Agholor: D+. Regressed from his Raiders season big time, don't know if that's playcalling or another reason. Might be a cut candidate if they can find someone else.
Bourne: B
Harry: lol
Meyers: C+/B-
Gunner (special teams): C-/C. Felt like he regressed in 2021
Slater (special teams): ?

Tight Ends:
Asiasi: ?
Henry: B
Smith: D

OL:
Andrews: B+
Brown: C+. Played better than this grade but I can't grade him higher if he has trouble staying on the field.
Cajuste: ?
Durant: ?
Herron: B-. Did all right in the last few weeks.
Karras: ?
Mason: A
Onwenu: B+
Wynn: C

DL:
Barmore: A-
Davis: ?
Godchaux: D+
Guy: C
Wino: ?
Wise: C+

LB:
Bentley: C+
Collins: ?
Hightower: C
Judon: B+. Also regressed in the last quarter of the season
King: ?
Tavai: ?
Uche: C-. Disappointment thought we'd see more. I hope he can come back better in 2022
KVN: C+/B-

Secondary:
Bethel: ?
Bryant: C-
Davis: ?
Dugger: A-
JCJ: A
D-Mac: C-
Phillips: B+
JoeJuan: D

Special Teams:
Folk: A. Year to year I think.
Cardona: ? Rated highly this year but no idea how to grade a long snapper.
Bailey: C-. I think he will have competition at camp.

Coaches: Not everyone just the 4 main guys.
Belichick: B+
McDaniels: B-
Steve: C
Achord: F. I think it's a lock there's a new ST coach in 2022. Judge?

Mac has a lot to work on, but shows promise he can be an effective starter.

Rham can and should take the place of White next season. He has soft hands and has shown he’s a capable receiver. I’m not a fan of the musical chairs at RB. 2-3 guys max.

Barmore should get better, but needs help around him.

Judon was a steal, but his play in the last 5 games fell off a cliff.

Agohlor has to go.

Myers was a great UFA find, but he is not a #1 WR.

Bourne was a great pick up.

Dugger took a great leap in year 2. Made plays I’ve been waiting to see.

Uche was a massive disappointment.

JC will be a tough loss.

Didn’t like Owenu on the sidelines so much.

Who says he won't be hear next year?
It’s just my prediction. Too many holes on offense and defense to pay him. I see him getting close to $20M. I don’t think Bill will Franchise him.

Hoping he'll stay...we'll see....we filled a lot of holes last year, hoping we do the same this year as there aren't as many...he would be welcomed!!!

If Mac is as promising as everybody is clamoring to say he is…

then all the receivers will stay and have slightly better seasons anyway. What happen to the qb makes everybody better? What happened to “tb on the jets takes them to the playoffs”? It’s on Mac next season none of the harry projection ********.

…so offense is better if Mac’s good.

so given that, why not load up on d and figure out who’s gonna replace the stars?

remember what happened to Seattle after chancellor, Sherman*, Thomas were gone? It’s happening here with us.

let the wr fantasies go and force Mac to prove he can carry the team. He’s on all the merchandise and the tv shows time to prove it.

All of the receivers should stay…except for Harry. He’s keeping other options from taking the field. You’re right though, as that unit gets more comfortable in the system and with each other, coupled with Macs growth, there will definitely be improvement. We have opportunity to try and add a FT slot receiver in the mold of Welker and Edelman. If that person can also fill in as PR/KR or at least give Gunner a run, that would be a huge bonus. There are a lot of wr’s hitting the market, and it’s also a wr deep draft. No reason to think they can’t bring in 1-2 serious contenders there. Oh, and we also have the binkie that is Wilkerson getting another year under his belt. I’d be good with bringing back Berrios and drafting Slade.

I agree. Bring in ONE (if agholor stays), draft one as high as you can. Supremely confident Jonnu improves too so there’s that.

I am really happy about Henry though, great addition and it seems like he and Mac have genuine chemistry on and off the field.

maybe Nixons good?

And also the benefit of going d this off-season is that if it’s successful and macs just average, then you just go draft another qb and keep mac until that guy develops.

he could very well just be a transition dude. If we could afford to trade up to get a qb with a top-10, young defense and average qb in like… 2-3 years… why not do that?

**** man. I forgot all about Nixon!!! I’m curious how he has developed. A full year just learning the system, getting his body ready. He’s an athletic guy. Will be exciting to read some reports in the spring to see how he is holding up. Good call!

Franchise tag and trade. You would get a second and 4th or probably 2nd this year and 3rs next year.

:
Mac Jones: B, He Needs to learn to look off safety's better to create space for his Receivers.

Running backs:
Bolden: B
Harris: B+
Rham: B got blown up blocking early, was better later- good pass catcher, need to see more to confuse the defense.
Jakob Johnson: BLEW KEY BLOCK leading to a blocked punt/6. Not as good to me as most think- also a dumb penalty or EZ drop when it mattered, I just don't think he's all that..
JJ Taylor: Sucked, but little chance to get better.

Receivers:
Agholor: C-, not sure what's up, time to throw, wrong routes?
Bourne: B
Harry: Sucked, good blocks only-CUT
Meyers: B
Gunner (special teams)C -Shoulda been better.
Slater (special teams): Not a Pro Bowl Year- Bethel was brought in to combine, then take his place.

Tight Ends:
Asiasi: No Chance. WHY?
Keene:What?
Henry: B
Smith: F - Doesn't understand the playbook IMO- Maybe I'm wrong, but 20 snaps at 14 mill isn't expected.

OL:
Andrews: B+
Brown: B - BUT gets hurt too often
Cajuste: ?
Durant: ?
Herron: B -. Did all right in the last few weeks.
Karras: B - He solidified the OL when he was inserted into LG- Good player, hope he's back.
Mason: B
Onwenu: B/+ when he had a chance to play.
Wynn: C/- , serious step back

DL:
Barmore: A-
Davis: ?
Godchaux: C-
Guy: C
Wino: ?
Wise: C+

LB:
Bentley: C+
Collins: Invisible
Hightower: C
Judon: B.
King: ?
Tavai: ?
Uche: C- This is a head scratcher
KVN: C+/B-

Secondary:
Bethel: ?
Bryant: C
Davis: ?
Dugger: B
JCJ: B
D-Mac: C
Phillips: B
JoeJuan: F

Special Teams:

Bailey: C- How bad was he hurt?

Coaches: Not everyone just the 4 main guys.
Belichick: B

Are we grading Mac compared to the rest of the NFL qbs, or based on realistic expectations for the 5th rookie qb taken this draft?

3800 yds 22tds/13int 67.6% completion, led his team to the playoffs WITHOUT a #1 wide receiver.

Compared to Brady/Rodgers, sure a B is fine. Compared to QB rookie years in the history of the NFL, an A at the lowest. Rookie of the year caliber, couldn't expect more from him.
