After missing the playoffs... once... ONCE... you guys retooled in the offseason and had a great draft.

Started off shaky, but yet there were signs... hanging with Dallas and TB until the final whistle, and pretty good play from the rookie under center.

The 7-0 run was a blast... and the Bills wind game was one for the ages.

Since then... kind of gone sideways/backwards a bit... but still the momentum carried you into the playoffs, with more than a punchers chance against the Bills.

So, thanks to the Patriots... for some great moments this season... perhaps a few more yet to come... and most importantly, hope for the future!!!

Oh, and for anyone who thinks I'm too much of a homer / rose-colored-glasses / namby pamby team suck-up...

A lot to be happy and thankful for. Some minor quibbles and things to ***** about as well. Which family doesn’t have those, huh? We’ve got some talented young pieces on offense in KB, Meyers, Mac, Henry, Mondre, Harris and Onwenu on the line. The D is a bit of a different story, and I believe it will be the focus of the offseason. For young pieces there, we’ve got Duggar, and Barmore. We need more impactful players on defense on their first year deals.

Guys we were excited about coming into this season like Uche & Wino did a whole lotta nuthin’! We do have some red shirt rookies coming back next year in McGrone and Perkins. Maybe they can make an impact? I didn’t include JC, cause we don’t know his status for next year.

Anyways, what I’m trying to say is that the future is bright for this team and their still a lot of uncertainty to keep things exciting.

This organization is anything but dull, and it feels soooo good to be hated so much again. I love this board and love so many of you guys. Living in Northern, Ca. I don’t know a single other Pats fan. This place has been my internet home for as long as I can remember. Thanks ladies and gents!

Big picture the 2021 draft with Eliot Wolf was excellent. And Dugger and JC made the leap. Team just needs to fix the offensive staff, fixes could come as early as...Sunday

If we can break Buffalo’s hearts this weekend… then this season was a huge success no matter what happens after that.

Even without that it’s been a good year. I love it. No pressure on us, extreme pressure on Buffalo.

I'm not about to start waiving my team off to their death. And I've seen way more Super Bowl wins than Bills fans could even fathom seeing for their team, so everything the Patriots do from today til I die is gravy for me, but...

This weekend is this season's Super Bowl for me. I don't have very high expectations for a deep playoff run. But beat Buffalo before going to get smoked in KC or Tennessee, and that works for me

i said before the season I would consider this year a success if they made the playoffs. Great year with new players and a rookie QB. well done

As i said in another thread, this has been the most exciting regular season in a long time. Of course id gladly take the ‘wake me up when its the afcc’ days again, but I’ve spent an insane amount of hours following and reading up on the team this year. Hopefully a step towards getting back to the ‘boring’ afcc at worst seasons

They definitely took a step in the right direction and have thus far met my modest expectations. Would love to see those exceeded though!

I've said it before, but the best part of the TB-BB dynasty years is that the patriots never played a single meaningless game (even in the two years they didn't make the playoffs they still were competing for a spot on the last week of the regular season). That streak ended in the strange COVID year where practices were limited, the QB (as problematic as he was) looked terrible after contracting the virus, and the team was stockpiling cap money in anticipation of the low cap 2021 season. If the streak is only interrupted by that single season and we resume playoffs year after year, I'll still count myself lucky to be a Pats fan.
