It's been 20 years since I've had the "nothing to lose" mentality about the pats going into the playoffs.

18 playoff appearances in 21 seasons is probably an NFL record, I would assume. Yes, it is aided by the fact that more teams make the postseason now

They were division titles

And an unusual 11-5 season when they still didn't qualify

This fact, however, is highly relevant in the Kraft trumpeting about playoff appearances in his ownership, while denigrating his own team prior to his purchase

The 90's team (which he inherited) got a couple of wild card spots; while the AFL usually had only a title game, and there was only one wild card until '78

Harry has been a disappointment since selected in 1st round. But, he was a gamble and is not paid much.

On the other hand, Jonnu and Nelson are paid pretty well and "supposedly" are above average TE & WR...

They have under-performed.

So, blame is plenty to pass around....

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't feel comfortable at all either going to Arrowhead. This defense though and our running game can definitely keep the game close. I just don't want to see the Titans.
