Super Bowl 42 was dumb luck - Faulk's injury, 4th and 13, Samuel Bucknering the game clinching INT, the most obvious missed holding call in history - the universe stepped in and tripped us.

Super Bowl 46 was a full team loss to a better team. I'm over it.

I was watching the game at a sports bar. I would have jumped up and down for like 10 minutes if he caught that pass.

I remember my leg kicking the bar instinctively cause I thought he caught it on the second try

Other than that game I’ve still never seen intentional grounding called on a 50 yard throw downfield where the QB is clearly winding up intending to throw long before the defender makes a run at him.

The nearest receiver was 30 yards away. Maybe it's never been called in the super bowl, but it was the right call by the letter of the law.

“facing an imminent loss of yardage because of pressure from the defense”- that looked the opposite to me. I only saw pressure in the middle of his wind up. He did miss the receiver by a lot but that could also happen if the receiver breaks off his route or if there’s a miscommunication there.

IMO at best a ticky tack call that shouldn’t be made in a Super Bowl.

Also in the super bowl we don't talk about TB and Moss came pretty damn close to connecting on that long pass, he did it in the regular season game against the Giants and came damn close to doing it again.
