Stupid.. he should have chose field position over choosing to defer. Field position in bad weather is far more important.
He needs to read Sun Tzu.

as a "religious person" I can identify hyperbole, sarcasm and other linguistic tools....but thanks
If you can, then you are not what I am talking about.

I will say that the Pats were fortunate and clutch to stop so many Bills red zone drives. Miles Bryant made a phenomenal play to deflect a wide open touchdown pass, moving off his own guy he was covering. It was a 4-point game and Allen threw to a wide open WR for a potential TD. So yes 1 for 4 in the red zone, Pats defense was clutch in the red zone. Steve Belichick is doing a great great job.

I mean...maybe...?

I disagree. I would want the wind at my back in the 4th quarter, no matter what.
Having the wind at your back means nothing if you don’t have the ball and the opponent is running it down your throat.

I think the Bills optimized their chances when it comes to deferring and field position.

The Bills had the best field position the entire game.

They also got the ball to start the 2nd half with the wind at their backs. (Which meant more time and possession with the wind). And they forced the Patriots to get the ball going into the wind at the start of the game.

In other words, the Bills did everything right when it came to the coin toss and capitalizing on field position.
Field position in a game in those conditions does not mean as much. Being on the opponents’ 30 is like being on your own 30 normally in terms of likelihood of scoring, especially into the wind. One big play - Harris’ run - set the tone. Buffalo never got the lead.
