Why did they go away from the deep passing game?

Josh has been WAY too conservative especially with a lead.....the defense isn't good enough to close games. Let Mac throw it downfield.....if I see a Bolden screen play or some crap sideline pass I might turn off the TV.

Why did we turn down that penalty? And let them kick 45 yard field goal. Take the 10 yard penalty and make them do 3rd down again and hopefully you stop them again but a much longer FG? What am I missing?

also Reiss said the winds were swirling in warmups so I think that played a part.

They have to let Mac throw it down the field more on this drive. It worked early in the game. Went away from it.
