So safe to say Onwenu will be back this week. Question is, does he stay at LG and have Karras at RG, or does Onwenu finally slide to RT?
That's the million dollar question...with Shaq back though and with Herron banged up, I would think it makes more sense to put Cajuste or Herron/Karras/Andrews/Mason/Onwenu....just my thoughts.....

So what’s the best offensive line configuration we think the Pats have at this point in the season. I feel Ike it’s…

RT Cujuste
RG Karras
C Andrews
LG Onwenu
LT Herron or Wynn. I’m leaning towards Herron.

Im a Mason fan but not sure he’s pulling his weight this season.
First, I agree on Mason, but since he's the only one back so far, he sticks at RG for now.
When Onwenu returns, I'd rather see him at RT if Cajuste goes inconsistent. But Karras should be playing. For this week I expect:
Herron - Karras - Andrews - Mason - Cajuste

It's going to be a challenge vs. DAL front 7

Per Field Yates, Onwenu will be back for the Dallas game.

It's just odd the backups had more success then the starters...possibly because of illness. I defo want Cajuste at RT and Karras at RG.

So same as 3 straight home losses. Bledsoe was rookie QB back then and he got us to a SB so there's that.

Ass-uming that Onwenu is activated and both Wynn & Mason are again ruled out, then my preferred starting lineup is this one:

Herron - Karras - Andrews - Onwenu - Cachoo.

These are also our 5 best available OLmen... They ALL must play.

Fortunately that's not happening. Even if they lose this one, there's no way they lose against the JETE in Wk 7.

Because last year doesn't matter just like last year's Pats don't matter. DAL has a top 5 offense. They'll be a handful. They'll be watching what the Pats did against the Bucs. What do you think the outcome will be? The score?
You have to favor the Cowboys right now, of course. They're playing hot. In fact, simple bad luck this year has the Patriots playing the Cowboys, the Chargers, and the Browns as other "3rd-place finishers." They'll be solid underdogs in all three games unless they completely flip the year on its head or the other teams get significant injuries.

But you don't have to wallow in misery for hours. I listened because I'm curious if there's hope for this place...I come away thinking the fun is gone.

If the Patriots protect the ball Sunday, they can win that game.

Anyone have the maps for this week, wondering if the game will be on tv on the west coast.

This is the national 4PM game with Nantz and Romo. So most of the country will have this game.

EDIT: I stand corrected. I saw the map on a later post.

Definitely bad luck getting those 3rd place finish teams. They're all balling right now.

Who seriously cares what either JaWrong or Godsmack has to say right now? They can talk all they want on Sunday evening, after the Dallass running attack has been neutralized...
Bright and breezy as always Capt, you light up my day

I don't think it's a surprise, either. Cleveland is loaded with talent - they built a powerful team there.

Dallas is talented and Prescott is A+. When they play well, they dominate every year, but for some reason, they fall on their faces every year, as well.

The Chargers? Been pretty clear that they had something special with Herbert, and they've got a lot of other things going for them.

I had CLeveland winning the AFCN this year, had Dallas winning hte NFCE, and thought the Chargers were at least a Wildcard team.

While we handled Brady & Co. 2 weeks ago, this Cowboys team is more well rounded and potent than the Bucs were that night. I don't think our D can hold them under 24, and without a major miracle in offensive chemistry, I don't think we can score a season high on their D.
My heart will always hope, but I don't see a win here. Boys 30, Pats 20.
We'll be 0-4 at home, and await the hapless Jets for a binky.

That game was ripe with tension and pressure on both sides. Brady was a little too dialed in at times imo. I actually think we caught a break in that regard. This Cowboys team isn't as hyper focused and actually like running the ball. TB does it out of force whereas Dallas has no problem running Zeke & Pollard (lots of juice, acceleration, avg 6+ per rush)

This is a good barometer game. It's October, more than a month into the season. Brady-game is behind us. Bunch of close games, injuries ... Into the thick of it.

I'm really excited to see our energy, performance and finish in a few days.
