Wickersham book discussion

Sorry but I'm not ready to believe EVERYTHING Wick writes but I will believe what DMC, Rowe and MB have said.
Ok man, I get it. You'll reconsider once the rest of the truth comes out.

If it did become Brady and Patriots coach O'Brien - do they win a ring? Pretty obvious that the answer is likely yes they do.
If he won with Arians, then sure. One thing about Brady that was eye opening is how much happier he is playing for Arians. There is something to be said for that. He seems lighter on his feet where here it always seemed liked he had a piano on his back here.

Gronk too

Not only that, they lied about it to the entire fan base. They were specifically asked and said it was not because of disciplinary reasons (both Bill & Fat Matt). This is bigger than it looks. There's going to be a ton of pissed off pats fans.

Yeah I'm upset. Fat Matt. I mean of course bb had to sign off on it too.

Eagles did not punt all game.....

One thing I think we learned. Brady was the ultimate buffer between Bill and the team. The struggles we are seeing now might be guys just not buying in to the same level because Bill's personal skills are terrible.
Exactly why Bill lost his job in Cleveland.

That quote about Marv Levy is wild. I've never heard a coach belittle another guy for his coaching abilities like that.

I disagree. You and I have debated the crux of those comments 1000 times.

When a player admits they weren't "dialed in" and "100% prepared" that speaks volumes.

The same as Bill saying “I didn’t do a good enough job and need to prepare better.” You would reject it as a public statement if if came from the other side.

"Ahead of Brady's announcement in March 2020 that he would not return to New England in free agency, he broke the news to Kraft. The two had a socially distanced visit and both men cried, Wickersham said on ESPN Daily.

Brady wanted to do the same with Belichick, but the coach told Brady he wasn't available. Brady later told friends he "thought that that was telling," per ESPN. They ended up speaking by phone, and Belichick told him he was the best player he'd ever coached and best player the league had ever seen. "

This smells like loudmouth Tom Brady Senior. Where else would Wickersham get this crap. About what BB said in a private phone call.

That's not true or fair.

I think when Bill says he sucked he means it. Just like he admitted he f-ed up SB 42 in front of the entire team.

Yeah. I don't really have a problem with that if that's how it went down. Some people don't want to show a lot of emotion in public and that's fine.

That's not debatable. When healthy, rested and prepared of course MB is better than ****bag Badmosi and crapass Jordan Richards.

On that day Bill didn't think so and the only evidence we have as to why he didn't play is what Malcolm said himself and DMC and Rowe confirming he was running with the 3rd string.
On his worst day, Butler in 2017 was a better option than Bademosi or Rowe. Bill chose the discipline route over winning a Super Bowl. He allowed Patricia to take a defense that already could not stop the run, and destabilized the pass defense. If he hadn’t won 5 Super Bowls before that, I’d say that might just be a fireable offense.

Better than LT?

Belichick has coached Brady, LT, and Moss. Think about that.

I am so over all of this. The sooner Brady hangs 50 on 'em the sooner we can just talk about The Kid and his development. Seriously. Bill is a dink? BFD. He's the most successful coach in the NFL, period. He's not warm and fuzzy. So fekkin' what? Jesus. It's football. I swear to God. They managed to put up with each other, RKK, Bill and Tom, for 20 years. It's over. I don't even wanna watch Sunday. I need a break from all of it. For fekks sake.

  • After Spygate and during U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter's inquiry into whether the Patriots had videotaped the St. Louis Rams' walk-through practice before Super Bowl XXXVI, former Rams coach Mike Martz said he believed that New England had also videotaped the Rams practices during the week. "I'd like to hang Belichick by the nuts," he told a confidant.
  • During Spygate, then-Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan backed Belichick and told Goodell that he wished he had videotaped signals and was disappointed for not thinking of the cheating methods himself. Goodell had called coaches and executives trying to learn more about New England's videotaping practices. Nearly all of them wanted Belichick severely punished -- except Shanahan. "You can't say that Bill Belichick is a bad guy," Shanahan told Goodell. "Bill is just better at it than most are."

That confirms it to me. It was Bill's fault but now we know why the actual punishment was over the top. Jealousy and wanting to bring the Patriots down.
More FUD. Everyone could and did tape signals. Spygate was about where you could tape from. Jaysus.
