Its hard to draw conclusion about any bb team, good or bad, from the first month. Right now they are not a good team , hopefully they come together and make a run.

Yeah, the Pats were 1-3 in 2001 and 2-2 in both 2014 and 2018.

Granted it is a whole different situation, but I think we can draw some from 2001. That team had a lot of new parts in the starting 22 and it took time for them to gel on both sides of the ball. The second half of the season that year, the Pats had the best defense in terms of points allowed after being an average to below average defense in the first half of the season.

Typically, Belichick teams get much better as the year goes along. Hopefully this year is the same.

The choices aren't mutually exclusive. Ie someone who predicts 10-7 would pick "4 or more" and "6 or more" etc. Think i know what you mean.

My guess is 6-11. Long season.

Patriots will finish the season 11-6 (Wins @Houston, vs Dallas, vs Jets, @Carolina, @Atl, vs Ten, @Indy, vs Buffalo, vs Jax, and @ Miami; losses vs Tampa, @Chargers, vs Cleveland, @Buffalo); maybe switch win/loss the Carolina and Browns games. Outside shot of 12-5 depending on what happens this weekend; I am very, very confident that the Patriots will keep it competitive and cover the spread, if not outright win.

We will make playoffs and likely lose to the eventual champions- the Chargers.

I don’t think the team is as bad as it’s looked. Take away a fumble, a few terrible drops, and a couple critical penalties (all things that can be cleaned up), and we look a lot better

18-2 cuz they'd have the first seed
Do we have the tiebreaker over KC? They currently have 2 losses too but since they signed Gordon they believe they will run the table the rest of the way. Will have to check on that to see who gets the first seed.

Sticking with 11-6. Every few years there's a game like this that makes me wonder if Bill has lost it. And every single time he has proved those doubts wrong.

And every one of those years Tom Brady was the QB. These are different times.

Technically yes we do. 1 AFC loss vs 2.

Total bull crackers!

The Pats are going to finis 19-2. You forgot the playoffs.
Gawd... the football equivalent of "Shave and a haircut?"

This looks like a 7-10 football team, honestly.

Based on last weeks performance....How many teams realistically do we think the Pats Can beat.........OK...JETS.......Miami maybe?

Who can come up with 8 more wins this season....might be tough.......

In BB We Trust....

Jets for sure. I could pull together some kids off the street and beat the Jets. Miami maybe, but next game is in Miami. Atlanta? Yeah..I think by the end, they get about 7 or 8 wins.

You don't think there are some slight differences now than before? But just for kicks, give me the 10 wins left.
