Not calling a time out when the Seahawks had a 2nd and goal from the two yard line and one TO in their pocket in SB 49.....

Brady is the GOAT.

BB is the GOAT GM and Coach.

Not everything in life is an absolute. Each made mistakes, each realize them and each ascended together to form a 2nd dynasty. We should be happy about it.

Brady is in no way overrated. Nor is BB. They're the best.

How do you reconcile this with all your crap Brady comments ??

Acquiring Ted Washington, Keith Traylor and Vince Wilfork in 2003-2004. They don’t run the 3-4 without them.

Taking a chance on Rodney Harrison.

Moving Willie McGinest to OLB who was struggling to stay healthy at DE.

Trading for Corey Dillon. I would’ve preferred Steven Jackson long term, but Dillon was a sure thing. He had his best season in 2004.

Going all out in 2007.

Hiring Floyd Reese.

Rolling the dice and drafting Gronk. He was the catalyst for their new dominance of the AFC going to 8 straight AFCCG.

Drafting HT.

Signing Revis and Malcolm Butler.

Signing Gilmore who wasn’t exactly living up to his hype in Buffalo. The contract he got had many scratching their heads.

This guy F's. Or to say another way, very spot on and also suave.

He doesnt. You called him out and put him on the spot. He will just make snide remarks later like Brady sucked in the playoffs, caused his own injury and was only good because Bill drafted JG.

THIS.....most underrated thing ever. The clock was running...Seattle thought they had it in the bag, but they only had one timeout, the clock was running. If they run and get stuffed with the pats showing big goal line...then they have to take their last time out, now they have to pass and the pats can get into a more pass type goal line defense, so he thought while the clock is once again running. lets try this pass which has worked all year, and its safe and if its incomplete, we still have a timeout and the clock stops...and the rest is history. Had Bill called timeout, they would have had a chance to do something different with a free timeout, where they could still run again. Bill didnt give it to them, he made them run a play.

BB sucks. he did nothing. its all brady- offense, defense,ST,trades, drafts. BB is responsible for the suckage for 20 yrs. Thank god for brady we could eek out a few wins.

Now that is stupid.....we got way more than a few wins...

good moves ... this list is, by far, not complete ... just a smattering of early morning thoughts off the top of my head...
  • veteran pick ups - Vrabel, Harrison, Revis, Talib, A.Smith, Dillon, Moss, Welker top of the list amongst a slew of veteran contributors, it just seems like he has the uncanny ability to find guys to fill roles that are needed
  • ability to groom coaches / coordinators ... There has been a consistent talent drain in New England over the past 20 years... While there have been some swings and misses, he has been able to fill roles with guys who know this system...
  • Benching Bledsoe. This was probably the ultimate coaching decision. Its not easy to sit a 100m dollar player in favor of a 2nd year 6th round draft choice.
  • Draft trading on the GM side... When the Pts get rolling, they can routinely turn one or two picks into a plethora of them... Say what you want about the quality of some of those picks, but you can't argue with the methodology... well you can, but probably shouldn't
  • The nonplussed factor... There are times when the team has been in bad spots, deserved or not... mostly not... He has never, seemingly i suppose, let those situations become raging distractions ... The media and fan bases may be raging out of control like a california wildfire, but Foxboro always seems like a ship in the calm of the storm... mixing metaphors, yeah yeah yeah...
  • the Pirate costume lol
  • his depth of knowledge about the history and players of days past is impressive as hell... that 100 best series he did? forgetaboutit.. he made all the others look like pikers... they were reading from teleprompters, he was offering insight and analysis...
  • NO DAYS OFF NO DAYS OFF lol so stupid, but yet so funny

Some of my favorite recent moves:

On October 25, 2016, the Detroit Lions traded Van Noy and a seventh round pick (239th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft to the New England Patriots in exchange for a sixth round pick (215th overall) in 2017.

On March 15, 2018, the Cleveland Browns traded McCourty to the New England Patriots along with a 2018 seventh-round pick for New England's 2018 sixth-round pick.

On April 27, 2018, Brown was traded along with the 143rd selection in the 2018 NFL Draft to the New England Patriots for the 95th selection (Tarvarius Moore).

These moves made up for recent drafting & helped win a 6th SB. It also shows no matter how good you are at drafting (Steelers, Colts) that if you dont supplant it with aggressive FA or trades it’s probably not enough.

Which in your case is claiming Brady was a prima donna, was pushing for shotgun by himself, and also whatever BS dissing point in 2019.

It must be awesome switching between your other account. I do admire the passion.

.
Brady IS a primadonna. Are you watching Rodgers in GB? Where do you think he got his advice or tips from? Denying Brady's antics at this point is disingenuous. He's been passive aggressive in all his interviews and then he calls daddy in for reinforcements. Are you in some kind of a haze and don't read anything?

On the topic of moving players: McCourty to FS and taking another approach with Chung.

Edit - Speaking of which, what the hell caused McCourty's drastic and speedy regression at CB?
There was no regression. That was in 2011 when they were super thin and young on D. He needed IQ on the back end after Meriweather and a guy like Sergio Brown not being good.

I loved the "Do Your Job" special that showed him with ice in his veins while Pete Carroll acted like Pete Carroll.

Hicks was my favorite recent one. Also the one im the most upset didnt come back.

Have a Bears fan friend and every time we talk football "Hicks was the one that got away..."
No offense, but he didn't get away. He chose to be a loser in Chicago. It's why Payton traded him to NE. He had motivation issues. He's just not interested in winning. If you're honestly choosing between Detroit, Chicago and NE as a FA, and you choose Chicago, there's something wrong up top.

I never looked up to see if he is from the Midwest, as maybe that had something to do with it, but really. Detroit? Who choose to play in Detroit? I question that person's commitment to winning.

Greatest:

Decision: Naming TB12 QB
Moment: Mona Lisa Vito/Deflategate presser
Saying: We're on to Cincinnati
Signing: Harrison
Trade: Dillon
There's so many, really. You're talking about the GOAT coach with, what, 8 rings now? Think of what this guy has done in his career. We will never see the likes of him again. What a treat to have him here, with Brady, for all these years. It would be pretty sweet to put an exclamation on his career and have Mac get them to SB56. I know that's a big ask, but that would be the cherry on top.

There are so many smaller moves, too, that we're all likely forgetting about. I am still laughing at those who think BB didn't know what he was doing and Brady somehow did everything for the organization. Hilarious, child-like logic.
