Cam is not vaccinated.

Cam sealed his fate when he missed valuable practice time leading up the cutdown. This was the 2nd time that Cam and Covid were mentioned in the same breath.
Other players are not vaccinated, belichick specifically said it had nothing to do with the decision.

Belichick also said nothing but positive things about Cam, but when you were talking to Bill last night (in front of the mirror), he told you that Cam was trash.

You're a joke dude. The entire forum knows you to be a liar. Have some dignity and crawl back under your rock.

I didn’t say belichick told me anything.
I said I am sure belichick would consider bringing cam Newton in as his qb was a failure on the field. How could anyone dispute that. Did you think it was a success?
See words are important. I didn’t say belichick told me anything. But you knew that and your only words are making things up to push a false narrative.
Then of course since you recognize the inferiority of your ability to for a cogent argument to disagree with someone, likely because you disagree for the sake of disagreeing, you resort to insults.

How many teams would you say are thrilled with their backup and their season wouldn’t go south if their starter was injured. (Aside from teams like Chicago that have their newly drafted not yet ready guy as the backup and their starter sucks?)
Very few. Who would you have signed?
Our entire QB room blows outside of Mac and now we don't even have Cam. I would have traded/signed Bridgewater last year. I would have also tried to pry Heinicke away from Washington. I definitely would have gotten Minshew a couple of weeks ago. All of them would have been better than Stidham/Hoyer.

He would've cost more than Cant did, but I would've made a run at Fitzy... And Minshew was an absolute Steal for the Fecals.

Good thing there is no such thing as a salary cap. Oh wait.....

Please. Stop. We spent $150 mil in guaranteed money. Our entire QB room this year is costing us $8 mil and that includes the 3.5 mil we just wasted on Cam who is not even our back up at this point. Paying for a decent QB to back up Mac while he is on his rookie deal is just smart football. Instead we have Brian freaking Hoyer.

I do agree that Hoyer sucks as a backup.

If you call it a mistake you have to say what alternative was better.
He had no cap room to get a real QB. So he got what he could afford. He hoped after a year off Newton could physically return to what he used to be, and he could compete with an unconventional offense and strong defense. It didn’t work out. Sure his hope was wrong, but I doubt he had high expectations, he took the only guy that would play for the money he had available.
He moved on from Brady with no real plan. What I would have done is focus on the backup QB role earlier.

It was time to move on from Brady. I agree with you on that but there must have been a better method to do so.

Every team already has them on their roster.
31 other teams didn’t want Newton in 2020. 31 other teams didn’t want newton In 2021.
32 teams don’t want him today.
Why would that change?
Wrong!

It was the same 31 teams both years.

...

But yeah I agree.

You "know what he would say" except he said the opposite. You believe what he says when it supports your position but secretly know what he would "really" say when it doesn't.

It's pretty obvious that you think you have a secret tunnel into Belichick's mind (Being Bill Belichick). Keep up your lies.

It’s pretty obvious that Newton was a failure on the field or are you thinking his crappy play last year and being cut exceed the belichick standard? I know what he would say because anyone who knows what they are looking at would say it.
He was signed for backup money an

So Skip just called Ninko a racist?

I do think it's bad form by Ninkovich. Cam is gone. The dude isn't here anymore. Throwing out trash media as a player leaves was the same bush league crap the toxic Red Sox and Red Sox media used to pull all the time 20 years ago. Skip's comments here are spot on. Even more so than Ninkovich, who was the POS in the Pats, the apparent phantom source if one even existed, saying this stuff? Again individuals like that are garbage, it's not emblematic of a championship organization to do stuff like this.

I believe Bill wanted to keep Cam, either as a starter or backup. Kraft stepped in and told him, "I didn’t spend $150M to see Cam again this season, play the kid."

I just hope it doesn't turn out like when Kraft told Bill to dump AB.

I don't think Nink is a racist and I actually think the point of him putting it out there was more of a kudos to Mac than an insult to Cam.

He should have considered the times and audience this was going to reach tho. As I'm typing thing I think he prob did and loves the free publicity.

Until Mac starts winning games alot of folks are going to be looking at this situation closely to be able to pull the race card. Doesn't make it true..just is what it is

Yes I know what he would say because it’s blatantly obvious that having newton as his qb failed.
I don’t see the part where he says the opposite. When did he say the QBs play in 2020 was a great success? Are you inferring from his actions if drafting a qb in round 1 and cutting newton that he believes it was a great success?
I could easily say belichick it any other person who watched and knows what they are looking at. In fact, I DID.
