The Negative Nancy’s hate Chatham because he played the game, has actual knowledge about why things succeed or fail and doesn’t take a turd in the punch bowl right up to the moment the Pats hoist the Lombardi trophy.

Rational thought and facts scare the nancy’s, they’d rather have a boogeyman like Bill or a player to blame. Things like execution, blocking and tackling matter less than “talent” and “weapons.”

I didn’t have harsh things to say about Z, I actually liked him. But he was a Brady fanboy for sure, who also started a thread in the 2014 preseason (along with the other negative nancy’s) calling for BB’s head because the team had “no talent,” and the yelling got louder leading up to the “we’re on to Cincinnati” game.

Funny thing is I was saying then that the team had talent but simply wasn’t executing, then was called a “BB apologist” which was yesteryears version of “BB honk.” We sure had a lot of fun dredging that old thread back up for the next two years until boston.com closed their forums.

Nah, I was always half joking. You never really came across as if you actually played the sport before. Saying some variation of “it’s a team game” whilst, simultaneously, verbally munching down on BB’s proverbial butthole doesn’t exactly light up the screen. Posters like you are a dime a dozen around here. As wrong as Chatham often is, he at least shows that he possesses some knowledge of the game within the game from time to time. You? Nope.

That quote must be in the same drawer as his super secret 2021 Big Board and Draft Grades (matches up perfectly with Bill’s thinking.) He has all the evidence but doesn’t want to show it to us because it’s a free country.

The draft board would be an easy one to figure out. All A+ grades. After the fact, of course, since he doesn’t really contribute to the draft forum at all before the draft. Actually, all A+ grades with the exception of the Easley selection which, coincidentally, was the last time he was critical of Bill. That was 7 years ago now.
