Did the old one get deleted? If so why? It seems to be rumored by more than just the Spike King's of the world.

Idk if I buy it, but Russini also said the Falcons have an offer on the table for a 1st

I wonder if the price is higher in the NFC.

The old thread was way, way past its expiration date. The putrid odor was noticeable from a mile away.

It had reached the point where most of the comments were no longer about Julio Jones rumors, but had instead become a cesspool of personal insults. It was beyond reclamation.

Unfortunately that has become the norm far too often of late on this forum, and it is driving many good/reasonable fans away. Hopefully history will not repeat itself in this thread.

There does seem to be a lot of attacking anyone who disagrees or posters following other posters around picking a fight on every post. Not sure if it just the offseason but there does seem to be an uptick in the vitriol.

i'm sure they want teams to think that

Nobody’s offering ATL a first rounder for a 32 yr old WR coming off of an injury; not even Julio. That’s called “GMsmenship” I believe it’s down to NE, BAL, SF, GB & IND. Honestly, I wouldn’t count any team out, due to the whimsical cap flexibility.

Offseason, plus global pandemic making people stir crazy, plus the first real controversy/struggle for this team in 20 years. Basically a perfect storm for people losing perspective.

A third plus Harry?
I’d die. That with Cams new throwing mechanics?? == ACFCG

we gave atl a 2nd for sanu so why not

This.

...and if the NEP are interested there is no way in hell we should pay him at the high -end of the guaranteed money scale.

I'd rather trade Harry than a future draft choice.

Can't argue with three of those teams, I'd replace GB with TN because of the Rodgers situation and lack of cap space they currently have. I wouldn't be surprised though if a team last minute comes in that nobody is talking about and offers Altlanta more than anyone else and gets him. Seems that's the way it works most of the time. Would love to bring him in here though...the endless possibilities with our offense!!!

The people saying Pats wouldn't give up a 1st.... Did you forget Bill traded a 1st for Cooks?

but he was 24 years old, not 32 and coming off an injury

The injuries are a bit overstated last year was the first time he missed more than 2 games since 2013.

But Belichick isn't gonna coach forever and i'm guessing he wants to get another SB before he retires and when Jones is healthy he's probably better at 32 than Cooks was at 24. Averaged 100 yards per game last season in games he played more than 20 snaps.

its the norm in society now, not just on this forum. Humans are rude and there are no repercussions

i agree, they are not getting a 1st round pick for him at this stage of his career. If they had that offer in hand, they would jumped. I think its going to be a 2nd and maybe a day 3 pick or player. I still hold firm on a conditional 3rd seems fair.
