James White re-signing with Patriots

Two things:

James White was the player most affected by Cam Newton IMO.

The pats are now entering the draft with six significant picks (1st, 2nd, 3rd & three 4ths) & may add another 4th with Harry.

All that is left is the QB trade up.

What is wrong with this statement:

"Washington's quest to add more offensive talent could include New
England wr N'Keal Harry."

Good signing. This really makes me think that Cam is not going to be our starter which is also good news.
Why’s that? I’m not saying you’re wrong just wondering where the logic connection is with James White’s return.

I don't think there's a receiver he missed throws to more frequently than James White. Just could not figure out how to accurately throw it to the flat.

Great locker room guy and has been a great Patriot over the years. Not what he once was but hoping with the weapons we added, he'll
be able to help.

Note to Josh: Please no more 2nd and long draws to James...it just doesn't work. lol

Glad he's back!!! Rex is next!!!

Good news for the team, fills the last remaining major hole. Now just get Cam working on his screen pass throws, because with the new TE's our screen game could be really good... IF our QB can hit them with some bit of precision.

Glad to hear White is back. He is a valuable asset both on and off the field. Not so sure about Burkhead. While he is also solid, his injury history concerns me. I would rather draft and develop someone with similar talents. Also, with Harry, maybe BB could throw in a day 3 draft choice so that Washington might up its offer to a 3rd rounder.

The RB room might be full, now, even without Burkhead, if Taylor is ready to assume a bigger role. That is assuming that they also add a day 2 or day 3 pick for the redshirt/break glass only in case of emergency role.

Let’s hope the skins have high praise for n-keal harry.

They've had reasonable luck finding depth guys undrafted as well (BJGE, Taylor, Bolden).

Bolden is still there, and despite the many rumblings here, I would be surprised if BB let him get away again.

I hope he doesn't - Bolden is pure Patriot. he'll do whatever is asked of him.

Unexpected turn but certainly most welcome.

Sorry to say but with James resigning it looks to me that there is NO room at the inn for Rex Burkhead. With Harris, Sony, White, and JJ plus the ST's king, Rex's time in NE is over. He was a great multipurpose RB who ran hard. So hard he had trouble staying on the field. I could have seen him back IF White had gone like most expected. But with him back, I think they really don't need him. though I can can see the Pats drafting one on day 3.
l
BOTTOM line this is good news both for the field AND the locker room.....also a good example of just how tough it is out there for FA's

JW's rec/tgt was higher last year than in previous years.

Not the best decision to use the same word for signing again and quitting.
The good news is it's less ambiguous in football contexts because players can't quit.
