DraftTek lists out the Patriots drafts from 2014, displays the Patriots picks versus their perception of value.

Warning: This is not for the faint of heart, the names alone will make you shudder. I had almost blocked out Duke Dawson

No secret the Pats have been cold of late but the big question is how is drafttek at eval prospects?

We need to assign prospect grades like the AV score and we'll get a better picture of who was good or not.

Big problem is we have no special talent that really separates from the next guy at that position.

I think their scoring is meaningless, whether a player was a reach or value based on their own list. One thing is clear though, the Patriots absolutely suck at drafting high picks for CB, WR, and RB. Absolutely avoid CB, WR, RB like the plague in early rounds, don't even think about it throw the evals into the trash can. With the first 2 picks only look where we've proven we can draft like DE, DT, LB, or OLine . Our CB/WR evaluation system is totally broken.

Man! Looking at that was uglier than a goddell family reunion!

made me sick!

Patriots have drafted Poorly for the past 5 years. That's why there was a talent drain on offense to the point that Brady was throwing to dregs, nobodies, and "Guys from Dorchester". As we now know, it was BB's poor draft selection and team building that led to the 'decline' in offensive production. Brady needed help and he didn't get enough of it. BB then pushed him out the door, and Brady celebrates Superbowl win #7 with a brand new team. Damn BB, time for you to right the ship, because that looks like a HUGE mistake now!

What I can not wrap my head around is how a guy that breaks down film better than anybody in the history of the nfl, and a guy with 15 years of solid drafts, can go five years in a row of picking turd after turd!

for a guy that makes tremendous in game half time adjustments, you would think he would get the memo.... the turds bb thinks are players do not work in today’s nfl!

Verdict's still out on the last two classes, I think player development has been an issue

Many picks over the last 5-6 years flash early and look promising and never improve

this is an absolutely great picture! This picture must have been taken a second after bb told caserio that if caserio’s I.Q. was three points lower he’s be a plant. Good call!

Why would you block out Duke Dawson? He didn't absolutely suck when he was on the field. The problem was the depth that the team had by bringing in JMAC. Dawson couldn't get on the field and the Broncos came knocking. BB figured he could get something for Dawson instead of just releasing him.. Not a great ROI, but circumstances changed.

This idea that the Patriots have sucked drafting of late is perpetuated by the 20/20 Hindsight MMQB crew. It's frivolous and done by people jealous of the NFL teams in general. Because they're on the outside looking in.

Maybe the issue is just you. The idea that the Pats have gone 5 years in a row of picking turd after turd is about a realistic as a $3 bill. But then, you're the same guy who crapped all over Dugger because of ONE sequence you saw and a look you put your own interpretation on without actually knowing anything about what was going on.

But you and Stone and others have that sort of arrogance.. That you know better despite what reality shows.

This is complete garbage. They have NOT drafted poorly the last 5 years. The fact that you think that the last two drafts have been poor just because there haven't been instantaneous results speaks more about you being the issue than the Patriots.

2016 - Thuney, Brissett, Mitchell, Roberts, Karras. Thuney is an ALL-PRO in everything but name. Without Mitchell, the Pats done win a SB.. Roberts and Karras were good parts.

2017 stunk because 2 Garcia and Rivers ended up perpetually injured. Garcia's issue wasn't found until training camp. And, unfortunately, he never recovered.

2018 was ok with Wynn, Michel, Bentley and Izzo.

2019:Froholdt and Webster are gone..Cajuste is a question mark. Bailey is an All-Pro punter. Harris is a starting caliber RB. Cowart, Winovich, Harry, and Williams all have big roles on the team.

Brady celebrated because he went to a team that was loaded with talent that had previously had garbage QBs. No. It doesn't look like a "huge mistake" now. Unless you want to completely ignore reality and just talk about things with blinders on. Cherry picking things without looking at things as a whole.

POT Kettle Black. Lemme put my head in the sand. It's not like we have GAPING HOLES at QB, WR, TE. That's not the result of failing to properly address those positions over the past 5 years. YUP, BB can do NO WRONG. He's just PERFECT! How DARE you criticize poor drafting SIR, no YOU are the Problem! OK. Sure, I see your point. Simp for BB some more :) He's never made a mistake in his life and his sh!t doesn't stink either. LOL

How DARE I forget the Amazing BB draft choices such as Tavon Wilson, Easley, Aaron Dobson, Jordan Richards, Malcolm Brown, Cyrus Jones, Duke Dawson, Isaiah Wynn, Sony Michel, Joejuan Williams, N'Keal Harry. I mean none of those guys made the Pro Bowl are even made it past their second contract. But you KNOW, BB NEVER makes a MISTAKE, it is all the FAULT of the FANS who DARE to use their brains to criticize our Perfect Head Coach!!! Never mind that he hasn't picked a pro bowl talent since 2013, it's all YOUR FAULT, not his!!

maybe if you had any clue what it is like to play this game, you would be able to have some point of reference from which to speak.

but since you have never played this game, never been in a locker room or huddle, we can not expect such from you.

Too bad for you everything you just spewed is FALSE. Played the game. Been in locker-rooms for football and hockey.

But please.. Keep spewing your lies. Just goes to show that you're the one without a point of reference. Not to mention that your arrogance makes Deus Irae look humble.

This kind of ridiculous post is something I'd expect from DWToys or Captain Stone. Exaggerations and complete BS with completely made up garbage on the side. I have ZERO issue with criticizing BB. But comments like yours aren't criticisms. They're flat out LIES and shows a comp;lete lack of credibility.

- Tavon Wilson was drafted 9 year ago. Mentioning him is ridiculous since it has ZERO bearing on the last 5 years. Same goes for Easley and Dobson.
- You're argument loses ALL veracity when you include guys who have only been in the league 2 years and are still playing.
- JoeJuan Williams, Sony Michel, Isaiah Wynn, and Harry aren't busts. Contrary to people like yourself.

Never said that BB doesn't make mistakes. But people like yourself who flat out make stuff up are the issue here. Not me. It's your type of rebuttal to actual FACTS that show that you're the issue.

did your mon’s boyfriend stumble down into the basement, beat you again and steal your meds?

the only times you have ever seen the inside of a huddle is from the couch in your mom’s basement,

Pathetic!

Yes. YOU are pathetic. Seriously. You don't know a damn thing about me. And all you've done is shown how arrogant and wrong you are on a continual basis.

I didn't think you could be any more worthless.. You proved everyone wrong again. Keep it up, Liar.
