Amendola apparently bitter about time in New England:

Huh? They won the Super Bowl the year after he left.

He got his money and the Pats won another Lombardi.

If he stayed he would have had 3 rings.

Hes $15.5m richer and still *****ing and moaning. Good for him.
He has a vastly inflated sense of his own value and ability.

Now that we know BB, the self proclaimed greatest head coach in he history of the galaxy(actually sub .500 minus TB12), is paying himself $25 mill/ year while nickle and diming anyone who remotely resembles a playmaker and running the the actual GOAT out of town single handedly, can you blame him? WWYD?!

Really. Can you quote for us when Bill proclaimed himself the greatest head coach in history? Or would you like to admit your blowing ******** out your ass.

I just threw up in my mouth a little, but BSPN defends BB.

Especially like the stats and credit given to the defense. 18 ppg average for 20 years!!!
Let's not forget outstanding special teams and...OMG...draft picks "wasted" on special teams players.

And, as usual, they're Wrong...Again...

Darius Butler with some common sense -

Names the leaders past and present (including Brady and Amendola) who bought in to Belichick's team first mentality as the people who are responsible for the Patriot Way

Darn it Danny. You couldn't do this twice????!!!

“I think Dola is trying to let people know Tom’s greatness. I don’t think that came out the correct way at all," he said. "What he said about the coaches is true, that’s what coaching is — it’s watching film and putting guys in the right position and when I think about the Patriot Way, I think about a team.

"Whether you want to call Tom the best player on the Patriot Way and leader of it, no doubt about it. But, you can’t tell me in all of those games and all of these years throughout, that the defense and other guys haven’t had something to do with that. That’s all guys believing in that. We’ve had great players across the board. We’ve had guys like Darrelle Revis, Vince Wilfork, the Tedy Bruschis, Willie McGinests, the Ty Laws — those guys. Ty Law is a Pro Football Hall of Famer, he is the Patriot Way also. Whether you want to call Tom the leader of the Patriot Way, because I think a lot does trickle down from him, but I think it was a little bit of a slap in the face to all of the other guys who are not Tom Brady — the Julian Edelmans, the Gronks.

He has repeatedly said its all about the players . Still the media calls him great and genius and then asks if he is really great ? Media's term for referencing themselves is "Everyone" . "Everyone calls BB great"

Love DA. His b2b performances in the AFCCG and SB52 would be cemented in Pats lore if not for an all-time defensive crapfest in the latter. Add in his late-game heroics in SBs 49 and 51 and he's way in the black on my fandom ledger.

"Former player doesn't have 100% positive things to say about Bill Belichick. News at 11." Whoa. Big shocker there.

Regards,
Chris

Ironically Dola was trashed his first seasons here because he was MADE OF GLASS, post after post.
Subsequently, Dola was synonymous with CLUTCH.
I'm giving him another mulligan here and will remember his many clutch plays that won us championships.

His friggin boat, "8 Rings" when he has won 6 as a HC tells you everything you need to know. Did I also mention the hubris to think he could replace the GOAT with any jamoke and think he was going to keep winning? The man is ludicrously arrogant for anyone to see with an IQ over a houseplant. Apparently you are "challenged" in this department. :p

Ex player says something positive about Bill = smart. Ex player says something negative about Bill = bitter jerk.

There was a lot of nuance in what Butler said. But you seem to be too dumb to understand. Good luck lol

Does Bill fill your dish first or Nike's?

I think it's all in the delivery and what was said.

For example, in the past Ted Johnson had been highly critical of BB but I don't view him as being bitter.

Welker complained a little too but again was straight and to the point.

Gronk also has some beefs with how stifling Foxboro/BB is.

With DA, he *****ed. Especially when he went down the road about his contract.

Bill is employed by the team I root for so he's got my support.

How are you able to see games when Brady's nuts are in your face?

I agree but it is just funny to see people claim different things about ex-players comments based on where they stand themselves. Kind of like when PFF has some random stat about a Patriot that is good and it gets cited but if it is bad then everyone craps on PFF (like me I don't like a lot of their weird stats).

I love Danny and think he was as clutch as they come but Danny took the pay cuts. He could've tested the free agent waters but he didn't. So does it suck Bill kept coming to him to ask him to take less? Yes of course but at the same time the minute he could get more elsewhere he did. There was also the report that he was interested in re-signing here after he got cut in Miami but it never came to fruition. I agree to some extent about Danny's comments on the Patriot Way but he kind of loses creditability when he gripes about his contracts 30 seconds beforehand.
