Who from this list do we want and whom do we realistically think will be a Patriot?

I would be happy with any of them other than AB and JuJu, they aren't worth the circus they comes with them...

I doubt Tampa will let Godwin leave the city. He seems to be a favorite TB's weapon.
Golladay,Hilton would be excellent. Robinson would demand too much money.

I would cross Godwin and Brown off the list. I'd really like Godwin, but I feel like part of the reason Brady went to TB is because he felt the management would surround him with the players he wants on offense. So as long as there's money available, the guys he's doing well with now aren't going anywhere. I don't want Brown no matter what.

I also agree about JuJu... good WR, but he's going to get a big payday and comes with some personality risk. Fine if you're taking a low level flyer, not if you're committing big dollars.

The rest look fine to me. Grab one to be your #1, resign Byrd for depth, then let a rookie, Meyers, Edelman (if he doesn't retire), and Harry (longshot) compete for the 2/3 spots. If Julian retires, grab another mid level free agent to replace him.

Cross any good WR off of the list. It would be very bizarre and piss me off if Bill pays top dollar for a WR now. Your best best is going all the way down the list to......Nelson Agholor.

Robinson, Golladay, or Hilton...and a tight end.

I'd love Godwin, but Tampa's not going to let him leave.

Depends on how you look at it. I can see it pissing you (the proverbial "you", not singling you out) because if it was what Brady wanted and would have kept him, fair play. But I always viewed the WR priorities on this team to be: If you can have a top 5 offense with mid level WR's because Tom Brady can make that happen, you do that and spend the money on other areas like OL and defense. Obviously there were a few years in there where it was noticeably worse than "mid level" (2006, 2013, and 2019 come to mind), but as a general philosophy it's sound. And for all years except the end, Brady seemed fine with it. I don't blame him for wanting more in his final years.

I could absolutely see Belichick pay top dollar for the (right) WR, as a means to help out a young QB, or a mid level veteran who maybe needs that to create an effective offense, and I don't think that contradicts the strategy they've employed while they had Brady.

Edit: I would also say that the need to pay for top WR's goes up when you can't attract talented but injured/troubled/malcontented WR's on 1 year prove it deals. Until they have stability at QB again, those are the buy low deals they won't have available to them anymore.

Corey Davis.

Immensely talented, seems to have come alive a bit under Tannehill, great blocker, not as expensive as the top guys, but probably as talented, and still young. Was drafted fifth overall for a reason.

That would be my guy.

I agree with this completely, he is improving and very talented being the #5 pick - 65 receptions and 984 yards in 14 games. I am not sure about the personality fit. Also the Titans have negative salary cap space so they have to let players go - unlikely they will sign C Davis to a reasonable contract which would then mean they have to let more players go.

Samuel would be good too, but the Panthers have some salary cap room to resign him. Not as big and strong as Davis.

Anyone apart from Brown or Agholor , will probably be the cheapest with the most injury history ....lol......whoever it maybe I just hope it works out , we need someone for sure

Samuel or Corey Davis.
Else sign waddle with first round pick.

I think we might sign jonnu smith as TE . That should be enough for offense weapons. Get a decent nose tackle and edge rusher in free agency, we should be decently set. If garopollo comes calling we should be back into contention .

Hilton seems like a nice cross section between being pretty good but not mega-contract good. I wonder what AJ Green will cost. Fuller might be the sleeper.

Golladay and Samuel. If we can only get KG I'd try to target Moore, Atwell or Toney after round one. Golladay, Samuel, Moore & Myers

If I can only get Samuel I'm hoping Chase falls to us and then targeting someone like Olave, Marshall or E Moore.

Samuel, Chase, Myers and Olave looks like a big improvement as well.

Been on the Cory Davis bandwagon forever now and would definitely take a shot at him.

He did torch the Pats in the SB, and we know BB has a soft spot for guys who've played well against him.

Wow - Samuel with 3.5yds avg separation on 77rec/97tgts (tied for 1st for WRs over 50recs). Great speed but finally knew how to use it (theoretically) this past year (7.09 3 cone with a 4.31 40 à la Metcalf). Sad to say I've never heard of him until now. Interesting history as a WR before the pros.

Carolina had no idea what to do with until recently but still isn't utilizing him to the max. He was a really good deep threat last year I believe but just had nothing for QB's. Underrated r/r. I had a 2nd on him.
And yea he lined up everywhere at OSU - HB (300+), QB, Slot (600+), Wide (50), TE. He won't have to wait long for a contract. I have a feeling a lot of GM's and coaches want him.
