The hottest name in coaching for the 2021 season is going to be Eric Bieniemy. His name should be in contention for every open HC job in the NFL. Because of that, he should be able to hand pick where he goes. If YOU were him, where would YOU want to go?

Teams that currently have openings:
Detroit Lions
NY Jetes
Jax Jags
L.A. Chagers
Hou Texans
ATL Falcons

I chose other but I'd say Houston is the best place to be, if I had a gun to my head. It's a division full of small markets except for Houston and with Caserio there, they are going to manage to cap well and give the coach enough stability to install the #1 thing any team needs: consistency year-to-year.

Eric is from CA and played for the Chargers. He has in place a promising star QB secured for 6 years at a relative low cost so I'm guessing LA.'

Jets. Zero expectations and you can pick tour QB of the future

Best Chargers but not due to division will be wise to pick next best Jags.

Bills OC Brian Daball it seems he's the new QB whisperer, would the Jets want him to fix Darnold? Would Daball refuse the interview based on BB's dislike of the organiaztion?

Why would Daboll ever go to the Jets. Terrible organization, toxic media, compared to great landing spots in SD, Houston, or Jacksonville.

Good point, does Eric want to have to face Andy twice a year. I think Brian Flores relishes his 2 Pats games but everyone is different.

Chargers for HCs
Jacksonville for GMs

Good point about Houston with Caserio in place, Daball would be the safer pick than Josh. I' m guessing Caserio in his job interview told the Texans who he wanted as his HC so his choice is probably still in the playoffs.

I guess Jax... oof. I’m not nearly as high on JH as a franchise QB as the rest of the world. I’m not as impressed with passing records in 2020-21. They don’t mean as much as they used to and the inflation skews opinions. The games I watched, he made stupid decisions at key spots. He is young, but often the young QB who takes risks keeps doing so.

Going by QBs, Herbert, Watson, Lawrence make those 3 cities the preferred landing spots. Jets fans are delusional, it's by far the least desired landing spot.

Stay in KC. Get some more rings with a generational QB. Heck, Mahomes may outlast Andy Reed.
Exactly, stick around for a few more seasons before they end up in cap hell. He could stat pad his resume.

I'd take the team with the franchise quarterback while I had the chance now

Herbert is under contract for 4 years. 5 if you include the 5th year option.. But you're right that it is at a relatively low cost.

I'm not sure that Daboll would go back to the Jetes.. Daboll was with them for 2 years (2007-2008) as their QB Coach.

You have the right to franchise him for 2 more years.

Why would the Chiefs end up in "Cap Hell"? Mahomes Contract is set up very well for them to handle things in 2025.Do you honestly believe that Kelce will still be playing at 36? He's no Tony Gonzalez or even Gronk. Hill will be gone by then as well since he's a UFA in 2023 at the age of 29..

Well, if you are going to go that route, then it's the 4 years, Option year, and 2 franchise years. That would be 7. Either way, it's not 6.. And as soon as you start Franchising, you are out of the realm of "relatively low cost". For instance, the franchise tag for QBs this year was $26+M. Or about 12.5% of the Salary cap. Next year it will go UP and be even a larger % of the cap than it was this year because the cap will be falling $20-$25M.
