@ashley .......I resemble that comparison , there is nothing wrong with being old and cranky , what else have you youngsters got to look forward too
Sorry Scotty, your always so positive that I thought you were like my age....lol

I don’t mind it as long as there is bourbon mixed in.

Really? Ugh...I'm more of Coors Light girl....but then again I'm a candle weight when it comes to drinking....lol
I like eggs - a lot - but I haven't had egg nog in > 30 years...Maybe if I had developed a stronger passion for weight-lifting I could rationalize drinking nog as a protein supplement...

Getting back to the subject......I have seen glimpses of Harry as a receiver and on balance probably deserves further evaluation into next season. But.....how long does he get to show that he can be a valued option ? There are more experienced posters here who could give a fair evaluation taking into account the last two years. I think camp next year must be an important make or break for him.

I wanted Harry to succeed but was really disappointed by his route running skills when he missed the stidham deep ball to the outer corner by not even looking. Maybe he just does not cut it as a WR. Better to become a tight end I guess .

Exactly. He’s ok, but he’s not a main guy. We need studs, upper tier players, not ‘just another guy’. On both sides of the ball we are severely lacking impact upper tier talent.
I was hoping Wino could take that step to be a legitimate pass rusher but it seems he is best suited as a rotational role player. I don't think he's a bad player by any means but he is just to undisciplined and inconsistent at this point still.

Not yet..I'm going to give him another year...Lazur and my friend Reiss see improvement from him....the last thing I want to see is him getting cut and going to another team and performing. That would be my luck lol
I like Lazar but I don't know what he sees in Harry. Lazar is constantly defending him on Twitter and I agree with him that Cam is a big issue but Harry has had a few guys throwing him the ball now and he can't do much.

Hoping that next year will be his breakout year....especially if we get a legit number one wr in f/a.

Albert Breer says the pats scouts preferred AJ Brown & Deebo Samuel but Bill thought Harry had a better visit and had a relationship with his college coach.

This philosophy has to change. Have to let other people do their job.

and trust them that they will do their job, a nice visit should not be the main factor to overrule the people that are evaluating college prospects on a daily basis, trust them and don't listen to McD he has no clue when it comes to draft (or develop) offensive players

WIno seems a better fit as OLB than as a DE for me, but what do I know, for me Harry is also a better fit at TE than WR

Listen to his scouts and NOT his blind offensive coordinator. His scouts also said to not draft Maroney but McDaniels's kid brother said he was good...

he is our most consistent pass rusher at the DE/Edge rush position it feels for me
their needs to be someone on the other side, maybe uche or more pressure on the interior next to butler but wino has not much help

Harry could easily have more yards yesterday if the ball did not fall yards in front of him into the ground, ok newton was under pressure but he throws like he is targeting the green gras

He definitely is our only pass rushing threat and I agree that he would be greatly aided by a guy on the other side. I would love for that to be Uche but I just hope they don't ask Uche to be a jack of all trades and sacrifice his ability to get to the passer in the same way Chandler Jones was asked to do way more here than Arizona. Jones was a good pass rusher here but was asked to set the edges and stop the run and all that and not just pin his ears back and go after the QB and since he got to Arizona he has had the most sacks in the league. If a guy is great at something just let them do it.

i agree yeah uches speed is great and he showed how dangerous that can be against the pass, he needs to get a bit stronger maybe work on his moves but i would use him against the pass for sure, he is a dangerous blitzer to esp against qb who escape we can really use his closing speed
i would still like to see if we can use him on early downs against the pass with his athletic, i think he is to good to just play against the pass, his speed can be used on early downs off the ball since our other ILB have no athletic overall

Dude's broken right now: in his route-running, his balance, his confidence, his willingness to stick his hands into the fire...

The only two reasons for my vote to keep him here next season is that he is cheap and we don't have any prospects behind him who deserve more of a look than he does.

Maybe he can be somebody somewhere else, but I just don't think he'll ever be anybody here.
