I said it way before the Patricia hire, but....

Don't hire Patriots assistant coaches. I wonder how much Brady covered for the deficiencies in our coaching staff or just how much Bill did for them, because not a single Patriots assistant has been anything but a disaster.

The only coach with a Patriots connection that hasn't been brutal is Vrabel, and he's a former player.

I mean we replaced him with Flores who did much better. Then we had no coordinator and that was even better. Then you have all those stories of Patricia being way too conservative and the team being glad they could finally let loose. I think he just looked good with a good talent roster and he played as safe as possible

I don’t know. If Bill wants his sons to keep climbing the ladder I don’t think he’ll bring back Patricia as a D-Coordinator

Their roster overhaul has been sneakily successful. Hard to believe their GM Grier is the son of our Grier. I do think Flores is a great HC though.

There was a report another poster posted from ESPN about a week ago. He's been calling out guys and saying "Do Your Job" and they are rolling their eyes over that. It's speculated that it was Colombo (who he reportedly got into a fist fight with) that has been leaking the info.

Jim Harbaugh is extremely overrated as a coach and wasn’t a good quarterback either

I always wondered how the "patriot way" thing plays in other locker rooms?

Like Detroit was 11-5, 7-9, 9-7, before MP got there. If someone you don't know, who doesn't exactly have great or big resume comes in and starts shaking his ass. Talking about "do your job", I can definitely see some players not taking him seriously.

Players smell bs and will call you on it, head coach or not. Someone will let you know.

If I was a former Pat coach that wouldn't be my front & center approach. I'd draw off that. Use it when appropriate but you have to be your own man. Again players & people respect authenticity. I think that's a lot closer to a starting point for a relationship as opposed to bringing a chunk of One Patriot Place into the locker room.
