As mentioned in another thread, Belichick as Ahnold in "Commando" holding a whining writhing Polian by his ankle over a chasm and Polian beging, "But you said you'd kill me LAST!" with Sugechick replying, "I lied."

I actually sent Jemele an email earlier this year in support of her. She catches a lot of flak, especially on the ESPN boards, but I agree with what most everyone here has said about her. Good to know I'm not alone.

Great article. Makes you think though why articles like this are "buried" on page 2 - another one that comes to mind is the espn ombudsman. A lot of the other anti pats rants are showcased in the main page all the time. Is it quite possibly espn's view that complimenting the best team in football is much like propaganda and this vitriol, no matter how idiotic against the pats is the best way of keeping viewers interested in the NFL?

I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that ABC/ESPN has made a huge investment in the NFL and it is in their best interest to keep people watching and reading about the NFL instead of thinking (rightly or wrongly) that there is no mystery involved anymore for the 2007 season because the pats are going to win it all.
