2018 2nd rd pick of the 49ers. WR. 6’-190-200lbs. Electric returner in college, solid #’s as a receiver. Had a decent rookie year with the Niners, but his career has been hampered by injuries and disappointment. Basically what Bill values. Would come on the cheap, and be a possible reclamation project. If the Pats can sign him (I think he has to go through waiver wire?) they can see what he has for the rest of the year, give him an offseason and see what he can do in TC next year. The fact that we didn’t get him via a low rd comp pick type trade though might be proof that there is no interest.
