If this was a non COVID year with the IR rules the same as always this surgery could have very well been the end of his career.

It might still be but if its just cleanup there is a chance we will still get a couple games out of him at the end of the season.

Sunday's game is going to be rainy, windy, and against a bad rushing defense. The week after that is against the Jets, and they might as well start tanking if Edelman is the difference in that one. Then it's the Ravens, who 90% of people here seem willing to basically forfeit against. Week 11 at Houston and week 12 against Arizona are good games to aim for.

Yes, all dependent on games now. They could IR him as late as Saturday and still have him practicing prior to the week 11 game.
