There was hope he could turn into a contributor with proper coaching and usage. That hopeship had already sailed from new england before this injury.

Of course the fact that you didn't notice his reps yesterday on Defense doesn't mean that his absense isn't a loss. Of course, in addition to being a backup on defense (11 reps yesterday), he more reps than anyone on Special Teams

EDIT: it was the most until he was injured. Including yesterday, he is now behind Slater and Bethel in reps.
