I’d love to see this. Halloween is coming. Make it happen, Cam!

"In the fine tunes of my contract, since we're talking contracts, if I hit certain incentives I will be able to dress all the coaches, including Bill Belichick. So that's something I'm looking forward to," he chuckled.

Cam: 'It's not about money, it's about respect'

Trashing an all-world legend who was a phenomenal teammate, leader, and person because a guy known for immaturity, poor leadership, and finger pointing has put together two strong games and has not dealt with a wisp of adversity yet...what a fan base.

I think it is overwhelmingly a Boston thing. I used to see it a lot with how the fans treated the Red Sox back when I followed baseball (many, many years ago). It's the mentality that someone has to be blamed and since your fandom stays with the team, you blame and bash the guy who left.

As much as I enjoyed Brady, he all too often acted like he had a stick up his ***.
Ever consider that played a role in Tom's success? He demands excellence and dedication from his teammates and from himself and anything short of it is unacceptable. You may see that as a stick up his ass, I see it as him having high expectations and an obsession with winning. Belichick is the same way but for some reason you aren't talking about how he often has a pole up his ass.

That played a role in Tom's success...but I bet it rubbed his teammates the wrong way.

The last time I checked, the Patriots are a TEAM. Not a Tom.

And since BB was never part of the discussion, I'm called red herring on that snappy flappy comment!

Name me teammates who have come out and said Brady rubbed them the wrong way? I can’t remember any.

Semi-OT - you've got it all backwards! Bill has the stick, Tom has the Pole...

:p :p :p

Cam does anything: "Wow what an amazing man. Cam is so wonderful and funny and everything he does is so much better than Brady. Brady was always such a jerk and a crappy football player and stupid and I hope he likes Tampa now! Jerk!"

Every personality type has its pros and cons and rubs some people the right way and others the wrong way. I absolutely loved the leadership and mentality that Brady brought for his entire career here, through ups and downs, up until last year where I felt he lost the competitive fire to want to overcome the flaws in the team (can't blame him for this either after 19 years). Now I'm loving what Cam is bringing to the table in a short sample size. Will that change if he/the team performs poorly? Not if he demonstrates that the charm and sense of humor can be accompanied by some competitive fire even when things get tough.

Fair points! I’m a Patriots fan first but I will forever keep Tom Brady in the highest regards. He’ll sit with Larry Bird, Bobby Orr, Big Papi, Carl Yazstremki and Doug Flutie on the pedestal of New England sports legends for me.

Having said that, as a Patriots fan I’ll always wish more success for our team than I do for Brady. I can’t imagine a Patriots fan wishing otherwise

In many ways, Cam is doing and saying many of the things Brady did & said. I love what Cam said about being given everything he needs to succeed from the Patriots organization.

LOL!! You have got to be kidding me. We have never seen so many professional athletes have such a collective man-crush on a teammate as players do for Tom Brady. Even guys who hated him, like James Harrison, came here and started talking about what a great guy he was once he got here and actually met the guy.

Man, you anti-Brady's keep getting more and more pathetic.
