i've lived in sd since '80 and in all that time i've met probably 8 charger fans. there's more raider fans here. that's why they had to move. i lived in the bay area before that and calif should probably be lakers or raiders but def not chargers.

1) Seattle Supersonics (??) more popular than Seahawks
2) LA Chargers aren't even the most popular team in their own stadium, let alone the whole state
3) No way the Bills are more popular than the Giants in NY, let alone the Yankees. And yes, I know the Giants don't play in NY but they represent a city of like 9 million and Buffalo has what? A couple hundred thousand?
4) The Atlanta Braves are not more popular than UGA
5) Ohio State is the most popular team in Michigan?!?!?
6) Miami Marlins are not the most popular team in Florida. That would go to either the 'Noles or Gators.

Twitter mentions sound about right. The methodology must be bad. OSU would only come out on top because the only team that Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, MSU, U0fM, etc., fans have shared hatred for is Ohio.
