Tom Brady: an honest take

Bingo. Glad he could tear himself away from his family that is just sooooo important to him.

If fans were rational and they are not, they would be roasting him. It is a blatant slap in the face.
Many fans are rational - and it's clear that Brady was in fact "checked out" to some extent in his final year with the Pats. This board is just full of homers who won't admit it. Wonder what they will say when he has 100% OTA attendance (this year if they happen and moving forward with TB).

How much TB12 money will it take for him to buy a team after he retires?

Would the Krafts ever sell?

After Bob's passing does Jonathan finally realize his dream to join the ballet?

Could Brady walk through that door and fire 77 year old Bill Belichick?

I would think the sales price of the Patriots would be around 6 billion dollars.
Would the Kraft family sell? Not until Jonathan passes away.
Jonathan could buy a ballet company now if he wanted, so no.

As rich as Brady and his wife are, they are millionaires ... owners are billionaires... whole different ballgame there rabbit

Yep. It is out there for everyone to see, but they refuse to acknowledge it.

I think his family net worth is close to a billion and lot of Damons and Afflecks et al would contribute another billion so he might have to settle for the Bucs.

Im the biggest Brady fan ever but it was obvious that he wasn't all in but I think that was mutual with the Patriots.....and they both knew that about each other. They both kind of checked out in my opinion. To quote an old Beetles tune" the love you take is equal to the love you make." That goes for both the Pats and Brady

A thread of Tom’s spurned ex-lovers

There is a taint of hypocrisy there, but new team, new adjustment, family will understand.

Tomba Bay the snake oil salesman still trying to turn the pandemic into profit.
I am a capitalist, and I think he is as well so in a sense I understand some of the hawkishness. But some of these are ridiculously priced: cook book, Protect Supplement, vitamin infused water NueroSafe etc.
What I can't shake off and I think is happening is that he is doing these for Alex G. They have something going on there where Brady is sort of obligated to help him get rich too.
It is the only way I can explain and accept the NueroSafe as a shield against concussion pitch he made. .

Love Brady.....he is the GOAT and always will be ....but this story was disappointing because he refused to do this same thing with Pats rookies last year and in OTA for past several years.....I guess all it shows is he was checked out/not all in here......

glad he found himself some drive to take the (off season) field with his receivers in Tampa, the last 2 seasons he didn't give a **** to do the same off season/summer program in NE

I had in the past complained about Brady not showing up for OTAs here, and then they win the Super Bowl, so I kinda kept quiet about it...Still don't feel the situations are entirely the same
anyway...would've been more surprising if he hadn't shown up as soon as possible really...

Really? @Captainstone kept quiet? Did I miss it when hell froze over?:rofl::rofl::p

Agreed. I’ll go further : love Brady (and Gronk) on the field. Off the field, he’s been a weirdo for years. I’ve long said the Alex G (and Robbins) association was sketchy. His « products » are shady. But he has a competitive fire and he produces.

Was it a slap in the face when he helped the Pats win a SB 15 months ago?

Chill with facts and just blindly hate

As Master Kan said to Kwai Chang Caine, when the bell of love rings, does not the bell of hate also vibrate? Or something like that.

Given the price tag on TB12’s latest product release... “Protect” immunity response.... aka unregulated magic capsules that Master chemist Alex likely concocted using left over concussion water and pieces of unsold TB12 Signature yoga mats.....the cash grab is on
1 month supply of “Protect” $45
1 year would cost $540
At least it doesn’t cost as much as the coffee table book
