This loss bothered me less than the rest of them. That was a very flawed Patriots team that made it to the SB. Zero wins vs winning teams during the season and had the great fortune of playing the Tebow Broncos in the divisional round. Only annoying thing about it was it kept the “haven’t won since spygate” thing alive and guys like Shannon Sharpe and Ryan Clark were chirping at Pats fans after the game.

Still should have beaten them though. That was probably the worst team to ever win a SB.

The Giants had a -6 point differential during the regular season. The only team to ever win a Super Bowl with a negative point differential. They got so lucky that the 49ers beat the Saints that year imo. Saints would have destroyed them for the 2nd time in the dome that season if they didn't choke against the 49ers.

I just remembered feeling sick that whole game. Like even when we had the lead feeling that something bad was gonna happen and wed blow it. Little different from sb42 where I did feel sick but thought we’d ultimately pull it off.

The worst intentional grounding call ever. He's getting hit as he throws it, and how do they know a receiver didn't blow a route and he was throwing to where the receiver was supposed to be.

Gronk being 1 on 1 deep with a bad linebacker and not winning a jump ball because he's injured, leading to an interception

The defense forcing 3 fumbles and not recovering one

The defense staying on the field for 37 ****ing minutes

Yep ... and Brady missing a wide-open Edelman on 3rd/4 inside the Vagiants 10 at the start of the 2nd quarter ... that was an Easy 1st down, if not a TD had he eluded the only defender near him ...
