OT:Lamar Jackson announces he's on the Madden 21 cover

I see a regression coming for the Ravens. Feels like the Titans figured them out.

Or they just got caught cheating with Bluetooth and they’re not the same since.

And I have responded by placing Lamar on IR in my fantasy dynasty league.

You say that, but the last Madden cover was Mahomes.

Ended up dodging a bullet but still dislocated his knee last year.

Don't buy next year's Madden, hear it's bugged. Game crashes immediately after your team makes the playoffs.

If Franchise Mode actually gets some love I’ll bite. Couldn’t tell you the last time I’ve played, just too many good features never made it to this gen.

I've always wanted to tinker with stuff like Franchise Mode but it never seemed to really be featured enough. Maybe I'll buy it this year. Last one I have is Madden 17 but I never actually played it.

Sounds like Peyton Manning is on the cover...

Going back to PS2 days, Franchise was legendary. They had radio shows that would talk about the league and teams from week to week, in depth off seasons with scouting, training camps, owner modes, etc.

Now they’re monetizing the game with an online team building platform predicated on purchasing packs of cards with real cash. It’s a sports equivalent to loot boxes. The cards released over the season get progressively better, so you have to keep spending to remain competitive.

**** EA until they build something that resembles anything other than a cash grab.

*****Edit:
Gamecube Madden was packing more heat.

Madden was always sub-par when compared to the 2K series. Unfortunately for gamers, Madden realized it couldn't compete with 2K's gameplay, so it payed a boatload for the exclusive licence from Goodell (another reason to hate this guy). Gamers have been suffering ever since.

I've only purchased Madden twice since EA bought the licence. Coincidentally in 08 and then 4-5 years ago. Wasn't impressed either time.

Here comes the curse, watch that ankle Lamar.
