He’ll be furloughed on Sundays to play.

@Tunescribe, I hope you realize the positive affect (and related responsibility) your annual post has.

For me, it marks the full beginning of Spring. Flowers are abundant, the birds are loud, the temps rise into the 60's, sunset is after dinner, young ladies are out jogging in shorts and tank tops...all kinds of signs of life and optimism...
...and the JETE still sucking...

Not practicing during the week would preclude him from playing (not that he really would be missed based on last season's "performance").

This terminal doofus better not get off with just a slap on the wrist -- either from law enforcement or the NFL.

I'd be surprised if the NYFL did anything.

Law enforcement could go either way.

As far as Jete suckage goes, it's run-of-the-mil. But I think it still qualifies to be an addition to Jete Suck 2020.

Whatever law enforcement does should have some bearing on what the league does.

Jets announced they will be releasing CB Trumaine Johnson who had signed a 5 year $72.5 million deal in 2018.
He will have been paid $34 million dollars for 17 games played which means he made $2 million dollars a game.

Hallelujah!

Hallelujah!

$12M cap hit. Only the Jets could make such a disaster signing. They’ve paid Revis and T. Johnson near $100M for 3 years each and neither has even been average starter level.

Hallelujah!

Can you imagine the way BB would get eviscerated around here for dropping a Revis/Trumaine style mess on our cap? But not Jete fan, 51 years of not just futility but profound stank inducing ineptitude must be very liberating. Jete fan doesn't even get frustrated anymore when his Jete do Jete things, he's far too used to it to be embarrassed anymore. Instead he just gets little moments of joy when they correct a ruinously expensive previous mistake. OFC those moments are short lived because immediately on their heels comes the crushing realization the next ruinously expensive error is never far away from happening.

As Pats fans we think to ourselves it probably isn't easy being green but for Jete fans it's just the way of things. For them there's nothing to it. After all when you start the season knowing in your heart you're going to be humiliated anything short of going winless can't be all that disappointing

We do.

It should but it may not. The NYFL has shown that it punishes players and teams inconsistently, depending upon the wind direction.

A MESSAGE TO AMERICA IN THIS TIME OF CRISIS

This is staggeringly bad management.
The Jets front office is redefining "impulse control deficit" each year.

It would be headlines if it were any other team.

Ex-NFL star Chris Johnson accused in murder-for-hire shootings

Former NFL running back Chris Johnson is accused of paying a suspected gang member for allegedly killing two men who shot him and killed his friend in 2015, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports.

Johnson, 34, has not been charged with a crime but prosecutors believe he paid a “noted Florida gang member” named Dominic Bolden to kill the suspected gunmen in a March 2015 drive-by shooting in Orlando.

Johnson, a three-time Pro Bowler who last played in 2017 for Arizona, was shot in the shoulder during the Orlando shooting, but made a full recovery. The driver of Johnson’s Jeep, Dreekius Oricko Johnson, died after being shot in the head. Police at the time said Johnson was “uncooperative” and investigators suspected the vehicle had been targeted.

Law enforcement officials now believe the shooting was a “gang related murder attempt” on Johnson, according to the new court documents the gossip site obtained.

I miss the good old days where da Jete players stuck to pleasuring themselves in parking lots and smoking fake weed.

HOORAY!! This saga can finally END!

What does this mean for Sam Darnold? Whatever the Jets plan is, it’s going to backfire.

Oy vey...
