Players you hold a grudge against

For me he falls under crimes against humanity.

Sports-related grudges only is my list.

I despise him for being murderous scum.
I hold a sports grudge against him for his self indulgence costing the team what might have become the best 2 TE offense in the history of the league.

What did Dion say about his former teammates? All I remember is him saying the team was too cheap to pay him.

More or less called the team soft and that they would fold is the Titans were physical with them in the 2018 regular season. He went on to say they hasn't won anything without him which is laughable because they still went to the SB in 2017 and put up 33 points.......and then won the SB a few months after his comments.

The team did fold in that game, though. He might have just been correct in his analysis.

Perhaps but I think it was more Vrabel had a great game plan, the offense being really limited at that point in the season because of injuries and the defense for whatever reason mailing it in before the bye week. I also remember McDaniels not calling a very good game but I'll give him somewhat of a pass because the offense was so dinged up.

This is a great thread. Part of what makes the NFL so compelling is that there are good guys and bad guys. While it is a sport, it also has a lot of soap opera elements to it. Love and hate.

I hate Shula's guts. I despise T Fizzle. I have a special loathing for Jerry Jones. I hate everything to do with the Colts franchise, from the owner to the inbred, illiterate fans of the franchise.
I can't bring myself to hate Hernandez. I pity him.
The individual associated with the Pats that I hate the most is the ex GM, Bobby Greir. I really do hate that guy, having watched him squander so much draft capital. He killed us.

Dion Lewis was on that 2017 team...

I don't blame Martin for signing the offer sheet...I blame Booby Greer, both for allowing him to walk away and for completely wasting the draft picks given him for the loss...

Roger Clemens
Tom Brady
Johnny Damon

“I could never play for the Yankees no matter the money ”
- Johnny Damon before he signed with them for the $

Also- Jacoby Ellsbury but he ended up just stealing money from them so all good.

Pollard was a POS.

he also did criticize the patriots for being cheap though, when the reality was they were right about his value when he ultimately flopped in Tennessee. Also someone should be a little more gracious towards the team that resurrected his career and made him a commodity in the first place. Instead he used the win (which he was a very minor part of) to gloat and take shots. B move imo

Basically called them soft.

I wouldn’t boo anyone wearing a Pats uniform but I
would not always cheer either and he would be one of them if he ever came back to NE.

****ing idiots who hold a grudge against Tom Brady.

I can't help my feelings, and it's not necessarily fair at all, but I lost some respect for Welker and the way he helped forehead win those games in 13 and 15.

I rewatched the 2nd half of the 15 game, and Brady was incredible. Just driving the ball with all his might and very accurate. A million things went wrong. & of course Brady missed Gronk in the end zone for the 2 point conversion. But the team fought like hell.

I lost some respect for Welker in those games.

I never warmed up to Kevin Faulk. I begrudgingly accepted his importance. The fumble in the Denver playoff game was the final straw. It all goes back to his days at LSU.

On the other side, I have an innate approaching irrational hatred of all things ttu.edu and so Wes Welker gets onto that list of Pats I never warmed up to. That and when he played on the Dolphins and his drop in the SB. Those always caused me to not like him. This weird hatred did not and does not apply to Amendola.

I agree.

I just can’t get the image of that grinning little **** out of my head.

Welker was one of my favorite Patriots ever but left a really bad aftertaste. Not even really his fault. It is what it is.

Agree on "not his fault." But feelings get sticky like that sometimes.
