The Patriots have just announced that there are no changes to yesterday’s injury report. It remains as follows: Did Not Participate in Practice LB Eric Alexander (knee) S Mel Mitchell (groin) RB Sammy Morris (chest) TE Benjamin Watson (ankle) S Eugene Wilson (ankle) Limited Participation in Practice QB Tom Brady (right shoulder)

Wow. We've gone from having an injury report full of players with supposed ailments to one with only Tom Brady limited in practice.

I'm thinking of getting a #12 jersey to wear on my middle finger, just like my hero, BB!

What is this right shoulder joke... always wanted to know for sure....

I guess it is safe to assume at this point, we won't see any guys who didn't participate.

Christopher, any word on whether Wilson's injury is a new injury or reaggravating his injury from the preseason? Or how bad it is? That injury seems to be the most under the radar injury all year.

Sooo, will Watson play sunday??

Basically they are blockers (good ones), and can be threats in short yardage, especially on the goalline.

First ... thanks a bunch for your good contributions to the other thread!

For - oh, 3 years now - Brady has appeared on EVERY injury report listed as "Probable - Right Shoulder"
He's never missed a game.

(After Cassel-to-Taylor ... he may never miss another SNAP.)

Anytime, my pleasure. I remember hearing about this on ESPN. Something like a throw on some fateful day, but I was wondering what started the whole joke? Is it a motivational thing?

In 2002, Brady injured his throwing shoulder in a game against the Titans. He re-injured it later in the season against the Dolphins. Had the Pats made the play-offs that season, Brady would not have been able to play due to the injury problem.
Since then, Brady has always taken it easy in practice, in order to keep the shoulder fresh.
BB has always hated how the NFL required you to report who was hurt and who wasn't. Since Brady always takes it easy later in the week, his name was always on the injury report.

Rumor has it that Brady's name is pre-printed on every report.:singing:
