I miss Brady already... a once in a lifetime QB for the ages. And I cherish the memories, and the rings.... and am forever in awe of his legacy of greatness.

BUT... turn the page... (I’m on the fifth step of the five stages of grief: acceptance )... now we get full-on smash-mouth Belichick unleashed. Watching how he builds/rebuilds this team will be entertaining as hell.

For the first time in two decades, there's great uncertainty around the Patriots. I'm curious to see how and if BB is capable of navigating the team through these forgotten waters.

Yours and our stages of grief will bounce right back to stage one when training camp comes around and we keep waiting for #12 to run out onto the field.

If fascinating = no lb, dl, rb, te, wr or qb...I agree.

The way things are heading it's quite possible there won't be a NFL season in 2020. Of course we all wish for normalcy to return but huge events in several months time are being cancelled. If the coronavirus is expecting to peak in June or July (and really we have no idea what we'll be looking like in a few weeks/months) then it's possible it won't be safe to play.

Would the NFL play in empty stadiums. Possibly if there was no alternative.

I know Bill would never tank but if the Patriots can't compete for a championship then I don't know why he isn't trying to cash in on the assets for an expedited re-boot. I mean Gilmore could bring us back a 1st rounder if he was traded to a team which believes they are close to winning the championship.

You're a better man than me, I'm barely through the second fifth since the news broke

17 game season. One bye

Will running QBs last? Are we entering the age of needing two QBs? Qb by committee

Is the 17 game season starting in 2020 or 2021? For some reason I thought that it was next year.

almost certain its 2021 but who knows how it will work. Which teams get one more home game than others? They should have gone straight to 18 games but reduce pre-season.

I'd imagine the 17th game is a neutral site?

I was over Brady when the season ended ...

Best wishes too him and his family ... but it was obvious he was moving on at that last whistle.
