Texans Trade DeAndre Hopkins

Like my momma always said, it takes 2 to tango. If you were BoB and you’re already having to bite the bullet of trading arguably the best receiver in the league, why would you trade him to a team like the Patriots? The fallout from that trade would be even greater.

There was a report that he wants (and will now get) a new contract, which I assume means somewhere in the ballpark of $20 million per season. That limits potential destinations a ton.

Can't have anyone get in the way of NKeal Harry's development...guys on here said Harry was a 1200 yard, 8 td guy...Hopkins or David Johnson would just stunt the obvious future hall of famer's development....

BOB is superbly stupid.

Break even. Johnson is a stud.

nick caserio for nuke would have been fair lol

In 2016 maybe..

1000 combined rushing and receiving 10 TDs is a bad season for Johnson. Houston desperately needed a RB and this draft is loaded with WRs. Some say this could be the GOAT WR draft.

Hopkins is a beast, but AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Terry McLaurin and other 2019 rookies stepped up big league.

a guy on twitter posted a screen shot from Madden, just like the Clowney trade, Madden rejected it outright!

Johnson is a duel threat.

Rookie WRs play on the cheap and Hopkins wanted to cash in. I had him on my fantasy last year and Hopkins disappeared at times.

Lol what year is this? People are embarrassing themselves claiming that Hopkins for Johnson isn't a complete fleecing. Johnson is a RB who had 1.5 good NFL seasons and has done nothing since getting overpaid.

Thank you.

That means he touches the ball at least 15 - 20 times a game. Hopkins does not do that.

That is, uh, one thing it means. Can't get anything past this guy!

************ you are stupid. Just like totally braindead. Nothing going on up there at all.

Reports of friction between Hopkins and O'Brien, Hopkins blowing up at O'Brien on the sidelines... and the Texans took the side of O'Brien, a spectacularly bad coach, and not Hopkins, the best receiver in football. Amazing.
