BGC 2020 WR'S/PTP Thread

Wanted to get your updated take on Brandon Aiyuk from Arizona State after a pretty nice season. Offers plus ST too. Still Tier 5?
No definitely not. Probably around tier 2-3. Day 2/3. Crazy explosion & acceleration. Has to demonstrate he can beat press consistently. Want to see him use that agility more at the top of his routes & after the catch. Want to see him work out at the senior Bowl outside and see what he does there. Think he'll be a weapon in the slot/tight to formation. I think he'd fit in here or with another team running option routes. Seems to know what he's doing. I think we'll have 5-8 guys run 4.3 and he's one.

Been a huge fan. Some don't think teams will like him as much as us amateurs but can't see him not helping a team. So smooth, precise & obviously has a pair of hands.

200+ yards against Auburn is no easy feat. He was downright dominant today.

Hamler & Reagor please. These are the type of weapons we've been lacking but for w/e reason we haven't gone after.
Reagor is the youngest WR in the class. Reportedly will run a 4.3. He should tear up the combine. Both these guys are players we've been missing.

I want a Deion Branch-like player, someone who can cut sharply and just get open with a twitch. Hamler or Reagor sound perfect. I'm blown away by Hamler's agility, while Reagor has some of the best ball skills and contested catch ability I've seen for a shorter, speedy player. Either (or both) could be great complements to Harry going forward.

Anyone else watch the Orange Bowl and think Florida’s RB Lamical Perine could be the Patriots next great slot receiver?

Feature back Jr season when Florida was a run first offense.
Became a pass catching threat out of the backfield this season and will likely be drafted as 3-down back

Watching him line up at WR vs Virginia and toy with their secondary
Loose hips, fluid runner, incredibly sturdy build.... the man screams long term slot option

The more I watch Reagor the more he reminds me Brandin Cooks or Tyreek Hill. Elite speed and great hands.

D. Smith from Alabama with a GREAT special teams tackle. He hasn't gotten the same hype as the rest of that WR corp, but he'd be a solid fit here.

he only weighs 165 pounds, he will get killed in the preseason.

raegor lacks courage. He would be terrible In Our offense.

hamler is only 5’9” and 175 pounds, but runs a 4.3. Not much of a catch radius but he can get open.

For a small WR he's always stuck out tracking the ball as well as securing passes from tight/small windows. Big time spark plug. The other thing that sticks out is his short area quicks/spacing. Knows where he is, who's coming, when enough is enough. Get the ball in his hands type player that could help on offense/ST right away.

Not surprising. Of course there's probably a 0.0000001% chance he makes it to NE's pick.

I love Jeudy. But, like you said, he won't make it to our pick. So I'm keeping my eye out for WR Henry Ruggs III, Alabama. Six feet tall and fast as hell. Ruggs may not make it to our pick either. But it's possible.

I haven’t watched to much of Ruggs but I want to see his ability to run routes. If he’s only able to run the deep route I don’t think he fits in well with Brady( If he comes back). As for right now I’m pretty high on devonta Smith. I love his game.

This is it.

Ruggs has a ways to go imo before he's a legit every down threat for a team like us imo. If we we're loaded and need a cherry on top then maybe. He's a few years away from T-Hill/D-Jax territory imo.

Btw I think Smith will go top 40-50 & possibly to us. Hopefully RD2. He's the best rr at Bama which is saying something rn. Very smooth & nuanced player from the line to the end of his route. + Hands. Plays ST & loves it if you've seen him. So you know he's a football player. Team Capt. Can create buy himself. I think you can move him around the field & he'll test well too imo.

We need guys like him.

I’m with you on this one.
Maybe he thinks he can get into the 1st next year? Idk I can't imagine he would have to wait long to hear his name called. One of the more complete WRs I've seen this year.

Hopefully not scared off by the draft board. They're notoriously conservative. I read they gave Mack & a few other great players 2nd Rd grades.
