Did the offense find something yesterday?

Looked to me like they found a division championship and a more than fair shot at the bye. Oh, they also found new hats and t-shirts waiting at their lockers. All in all not a bad day at the office.

The O-line also gave Brady a chance...

...to wear his undershirt. :)

still weird, the alternative wouldn't have been that great.

It's still bizarre that we see things like Matthew Slater lineup like a TE with goal to go with Harry on the bench...

Coaches are in playoff mode - not wasting time on anything that can’t/won’t produce in next 3-4 weeks

but what would have produced at WR?

Sanu doesn't produce, Dorsett doesn't, Meyers didn't. There really was no other option.

Harry would be even more involved if not shadowed almost everytime by White. Assuming he allowed McLaurin to get 39 yards, Beckham 57 yards, Sutton just 27 and Cooper 85 yards - Harry's duel with White sounds even more interesting. Ok, 21 yards against White maybe is not so impressive but the fact he absorbed one od the best CBs should be promissing.

White was annoyed with Harry due to him getting bullied in the running game on the edge

Who knows? Sanu is a veteran who has been hurt. Meyers showed some yesterday. They challenged Harry and he responded. If he didn’t, they would have done something else. The key yesterday was not WR play - it was the rushing. Do that and stuff will open up in the passing attack.

Yeah,I know. That is good when experienced CB is angry with a rookie :) - isn't it.

Huh? As opposed to by accident? Are you part of the “can’t get separation” gang who immediately gave up on him? Those posters are suddenly awfully quiet. He is improving slowly and they are adding more to his plate every week. I expect him to be a major weapon in the playoffs. He doesn’t have to go 7/105 to make an impact.
It seemed like the Bills were really mugging him too. Saw several plays where they were grabbing/holding onto him longer than they should. Seems like he is already recognized as the deep threat/playmaker.

Edit: just saw the other posts above about White vs. Harry too. Same point really. Helps a lot that he's taking their top CB with him.

In a perfect world, we run our 2015 Week 17 @ Miami offense, just this time we can actually move the ball. Make Harry/Meyers/Dorsett the top 3 WRs and hope they can handle it for one week.
We only do this if KC loses this week and Baltimore wins.

Even then, this offense needs more reps to make sure it’s good to go come January.

Tre’Davius White is known for mugging people, and not liking it when he gets called out for it. Just ask Gronk.

Definitely something to build on. I like the way they are getting Harry involved and it's nice to see him break a tackle and get a few extra yards. The running game is looking better with both Burkhead and Sony looking better and considering the defense he played, I think Brady had his best game of the year.

I was just going to write that someone here suggested a few weeks ago that Harry could work in that Patterson role and it seems they’ve done a bit of that the past couple of weeks. (Not that the Patriots read patsfans ...) Whatever it takes I guess, and maybe by finding that role he can be eased more into a pass catching role. Also sounds like they emphasized his role as a blocker this week and he seemed to do pretty well there.

Good to see Meyers making some nice grabs again.

Yeah, and I was one who questioned if he could fit that role because of the difference in speed. Honestly, I wonder if they should fit Harry into the Sanu role, Meyers in the Dorsett role and have Dorsett or Sanu be the 4th WR.

As opposed to him consistently being a bit better than the opponent on any situation, rather than design plays where other players and the schematics itself are made for him to get the ball - In case you are still not picturing it: most catching behind the Line, screen plays and end-arounds.

I have no idea what "other posters are saying" but Harry has 4 catches for 40 yards this last 2 games. His breakthrough is all about doing what CP did last season. Good for the team? Yes. What i have expected from our 1st draft pick? No.

Feel free to read everything else on my post. Maybe you'll understand at first glance without the attitude

I'm missing a glove liner. If they found that, have them get it back to me, please.

They probably meant for this year.
Or wasn't so much that they were giving up on him it's that they felt history has shown that if a player is still struggling at this point in his first season that he might not pan out

Everything finally looked pretty close to right yesterday. I want to see them do it against Miami though. This D is starting to fall off a bit to to injury and the offense needs to pick up the slack.

The OL looked the best it had all year. Hopefully that continues. The RT spot is questionable right now. I want to see a healthy option there we can count on come playoff time. I don't expect Newhouse to repeat that performance. Hopefully Mason keeps this up.

Brady was simply lazer sharp. Vintage Brady. They need him to do that same thing for 4 more games.

The WRs were good except for Sanu. As much as it sucks at this point they need to make Sanu an after thought. Him and Brady have just not gotten in sync and it is too late to try to fix it when he has shown so little.

As for the other WRs Harry needs to get more involved. Period. When he has the ball in his hands you see the talent and ability he brings to the table. They need to feature him more if they want this offense to get where it needs to go. The Miami game should be devoted to this if they need to play to win it.

For the first time in a long time all of their starting RBs are healthy. They need to lean on Rex and White in the passing game and were able to do so today.

yep, absolute pathetic post by Jay. Awful.
So i guess the O-line isnt playing better, Harry isn't good with ball in his hands and we don't need the offense to perform well in the Play-offs.

Cool
