I had tennis elbow this summer. I don't know how much the brace really helped, but I stuck to running and some at home rehab and it worked. He looked good tonight, perhaps it's getting better.

Knee jerk reaction is Tom should shoot himself up with whatever legal painkillers he can, tape/brace it for one more run, and call it a career.

Perhaps, but his retirement will never be publicly linked to any injury related to connective tissues. That would be a direct blow to the value of the TB12 franchise he's building. I'd suggest that every year he stays on the NFL's main stage adds more value to his growing business than whatever salary he brings in.
