Chiefs radio hosts are extremely confident about this game. They are almost convinced they are going to win the game.
That's what I meant....the defense will do its part and put us in position, but the offense is going to decide how far we are to go. Bottom line, we know that the defense is gonna keep even the best offenses in the league under 25 points when on top of their game....but can our offense score 25+ against anybody?
And I interpreted lightskinsmurf's comment as the defense will take this team as far as it can and that the offense is what it is at this point...
As per bedard, KC has played a lot of man recently which is again going to be a challenge this week for our WRs.
I’m not going to feel comfortable picking them either. This feels like a game where we get our cheeks clapped at home. Hope I’m wrong though.I had to force myself to pick the patriots to win this game. I don't feel great about it because I have zero faith in this offense right now. However, we're at home and I think the defense will make some plays and force turnovers. If they don't, we lose. That simple. We are going as far as our defense can take us this year.

If that happens, the team has to regroup and figure things out. Same as any other loss.If that happens then what? Everything spirals? The chiefs could run the table and all it would take is another loss to be playing in wildcard weekend and heck maybe even have a battle for the division with the bills. Yikes. It feels like this game is a momentum changer. Have to win and show some offense.

They scored 41 points last week. There won't be a need to pass the ball much. Their run defense can't help but give up numerous explosive plays each game. This running attack looks much better with Wynn back, and with Roberts getting more comfortable at FB. Should be able to pound them with ease.
What the Chiefs should be most worried about is their struggling offense, which looks weak both on the ground and through the air, going up against this defense on the road.

Why did they stop running after that first series? Sincere question. If we come out and smash mouth the Chiefs, establish the run and don't get away from it, it should simplify the passing game for our offense.
We could have done that against Houston but we got away after successfully running down their throats after the first drive.
Yeah our offense needs to execute better, but McD needs to call a better game imo.
Still not doom and gloom with this offense. I hope they can put it together so the hot takers can STFU.
Thanks for confirming you didn't watch the game.
Answer to this question was that the defense brought another man into the box to stop it.Why did they stop running after that first series? Sincere question.
If scoring 31 points on offense means they are struggling how would you characterize the Patriot offense?
