This team has little to no chance against an elite opponent such as Baltimore. We will be very lucky if we end up in the AFCCG.IMO - If AB wants to come back I'm willing. Kraft has to suck it up and do what is good for the team (aka: Winning games). The current WR group is not doing it. Even SANU cannot get open.
Cannot always rely on #11. If he gets hurt, the season is over for the Patriots.
Pshh, minor detail. How about one of the several TEs we have that are basically lampposts?Let's assume they agree to bring him back. Who do you release to make the roster spot?
You're sharp enough to know that that team of a year ago also had a HOF TE who ended up being a major factor in getting to and winning the SB, not to mention a completely different OL and a Pro Bowl FB.What did he say again to our team going into the playoffs last year ?
You’d be onto something if Brady wasn’t still pissed off that Brown isn’t on the team.I think the Patriots need to release a statement signed by Kraft, Belichick, and Brady stating that they are moving on and will not be resigning Antonio Brown. That remove this unnecessary cloud hanging over the team.
Yeah - not sure why people think this season is the same and last. Its not. Nowhere near the same. You're sharp enough to know that that team of a year ago also had a HOF TE who ended up being a major factor in getting to and winning the SB, not to mention a completely different OL and a Pro Bowl FB.
Well media pressure is what led to Brown being unceremoniously cut by Bendover Bob, so maybe more media pressure in reverse will get him to act accordingly.Love everyone posting the Stephen A Smith rant. Now the Patriots are sure to bring Brown back!

This has been frustrating me too. If you are not signing him under any circumstances simply say so “ we are not signing him. We are moving on. We are not addressing the issue anymore” and deal with the fallout or a statement like “We are not signing AB because we do not have clarification from the league on his status if we add him to our roster”.... it will take approximately 30 minutes for the national media to force the NFL to get off the fence. Right now they are having their cake and eating it to. If Kraft won’t have him Kraft should clarify that publicly to the fan base and end this drama. It’s ridiculous at this point. This guy can help us win a Super Bowl it looks like we won’t win without him. That should be an obvious decision.
This level of dis functionality associated from the Patriots I would have thought impossible 10 months ago. It’s Browns like.Mike Reiss basically said ' he's not coming back' which is about as close to the Patriots making a public statement as you can get.
But that also means there's still a chance. Haha

Apparently some DT named Albert Huggins warrants a roster spot instead of someone like AB who can actually help the team.
