Rivers should not be in the Hall of Fame. He hasn't achieved anything other than being a solid to above average starter.

He is sloppy far too often and doesn't rise to the occasion in big moments. I can't fathom putting Rivers in the Hall of Fame and having fans point to him as a great one. He isn't among the masters. He's just pretty good.

What if you were forced to choose between Rivers and Eli?

Eli. His career stats are nowhere near those of Rivers. However, Eli got it done twice even if getting it done represented not screwing up, making a few opportune plays, and letting his defense win championships.

Rivers had his chance last year with a 12-4 team and couldn't get it done; it was the same story with peak Tomlinson helping the cause at the start of his career.

People keep sleeping on the 1 seed was theirs to lose last year but Rivers and the Chargers choked a late home game to Baltimore losing the division and 1 seed.

Does anyone have the stats of Rivers in games inside the division? From the top of my bettor memory it seems every time the Chargers face the Broncos, Chiefs or Raiders they lose. If you don't dominate your division that's already a big no for the HOF.
