OK you guys aren't going to like this but here's an outside perspective. The Patriots winning with the best collection of players they've ever had and maybe arguably the best collection of players ever, does nothing to sway what many non New England Patriots fans may now think of what the Pats have done is the past following camera gate. There's a huge difference between the old thinking that the Pats were winning because of great coaching, great systems and always being the most prepared team in football and the 2007 team which simply has the best players. It's not rocket science anymore, a team 5 yards from probably winning the Super Bowl in 2006 signs the best defensive free agent, the best free agent WR and trades for possibly the most gifted WR of all time. Anything short of a Super Bowl win for this team is a choke job, they are that good. It does nothing to dispell the doubts fans have following cameragate of what they've done in the past with much less talented teams.

I wasn't alive, there were no glory days for me. The Pats could very well go undefeated, I wouldn't be surprised. There would be at least one title nobody could question.

I respect that, I'm the same way wearing my Miami gear wherever I want as well. Its the other guy who's panties got in a twist when I posted what other fans may think of his beloved Patriots and in my eyes the EFF U means nothing towards proving there greatness in the past without video footage contributing. At the end of the day, we would all love to be rooting for a team like the 07 Patriots. They make it almost not fun for the rest of the league. They should easily wiun it all. We could seriously just pass go and collect 200 dollars on this football season.

None taken, I don't balme you guys for getting testy about the vidoegate thing. We will definetly never know how or if it's contributed to past Patriots glory because we don't know how or if it was used.

Some fans say it wouldn't make a difference but I disagree. Last year Miami claimed to have stolen New Englands audibles and they beat the Pats 21-0. Does anyone here think Miami was 21-0 better than your Pats last season? I think knowing the plays, or audibles, played a nice part in that win.
