When does Harry have to be activated to the 53 to be able to play in the Ravens game? Tomorrow afternoon? Saturday?

(Also, am I correct in assuming that a player on IR can basically do anything except practice & play -- i.e. can go to meetings, can watch (but not participate in) practices, etc.?)

Saturday at 4 I believe.

He has to be activated by Saturday to play against the Ravens and if that doesn’t happen, by Tuesday to come back at all.

Saturday 4 pm

Saturday 4PM if I'm quoting Miguel properly from aged memory. Matches what I recall as the deadline.

'The Harry Watch' ...... stay tuned.

So do people think Harry will be activated? Or get the red shirt for the year?

waiting til Tuesday could be a harry situation

Not activating him is harsh because then he can’t even practice after Tuesday. Even if they didn’t expect him to contribute in games, I think they’d activate him just so he can practice the rest of the season.

I've always thought that we could afford to have 2-3 developmental players on the 53, even if nothing is expected from them in the current year.

Harry might contribute this year; but for me, that is gravy. We expect him to be a solid contributor for the future.

I’m thinking he goes to IR for the year

Glad to hear this

With this offense and being thin at receiver already, his ass better come back.

I don't understand why so many posters think this will be a redshirt year for Harry. Half the season is left. If Harry is good, it will show. Does anyone remember Terry Glenn's rookie year?

He is unlike our other receivers.

I don't know about "immediate impact", but by playoff team I expect Harry will be getting his targets.
