I dislike the dislike button. It is a lazy way of disagreeing with someone instead of engaging them in a conversation. It must be the old fogy in me.

Feel free to dislike this post.

Dislikes are kind of fun because certain posters get so angry about them that they'll randomly be like "**** you brady2wario69, how dare you dislike ny post without engaging me in conversation, everything i said was correct, you're a boy and im a man ans i would beat yoi up if we ever met"

I always felt dislike should be the red X and the disagree is thumbs down. Regardless...i agree with green check mark

Wynn was the best left tackle in the country. Draft sites listed him as a guard because he has shorter than ideal arms. So did Joe Thomas. Pretty clear the Patriots never saw him as anything other than a tackle.

He’s pretty similar to Charles Leno, pretty damn good LT.

True or false? Wynn started all 15 games of his senior season at LT, but also consistently played G through his whole career at Georgia?

I use the useful rating ironically, except when I don’t. I would rate this post Confusing if it wasn’t my own.

sorry i got no dog in this fight but the "im not mad, ive never been mad, youre the one whos mad" routine will never not be funny to me

Exactly, I like the back and forth. You will never see Andy Johnson settle for a dislike button. He's got 4 paragraphs on why he's right and you're wrong. Per post.

True

It seems clear that NE views him as a tackle, where he was outstanding his senior year at college. And his limited time here suggests he'll be a fine pro as well. Certainly asking him to change position at this point would be less than ideal.

I don't disagree. Is anything about this Oline ideal right now? Would the two side by side by a huge upgrade? Yup.

No, the dislike button is perfectly adequate for things like ''**** you Brady you piece of ****, what was that pass?'' while up 24-3 or ''Great job building the offense Bill, great job sabotaging Brady as if benching Butler wasn't enough'' in the first drive of preseason game 3.

And trust me, these are actual paraphrased quotes that took place in those situations.

Still piping mad that you wouldn't engage me directly like a man about these posts and just disliked them!!!!!!! But not actually mad. You're mad, not me. I'm laughing.

Game threads shouldn't count. People are all drunk/insane. At least posting stupidity here is better than breaking your tv with the remote.

Yeah people who complain about GDT threads basically miss the point of those being slightly healthier ways to blow off steam than, like, yelling at the TV

The Skins do have a **** ton of cap space next year (even more if Alex Smith is done) despite giving Landon Collins a zillion dollars for some reason and no chance of competing, so they could conceivably spin some of Norman's salary into bonus to eat it as dead cap. A contender might fall in love with the name and give up a high pick for the guy if he's only hitting that team's cap for a few million instead of $12m+. Of course, Dan Snyder is trying to trade Norman precisely because he doesn't want to pay a cent of what he owes the guy moving forward, so a perhaps savvy move like that won't ever happen.
So, what you're saying is that the Washington Redskins are following the path of the illustrious Cincinnati Bengals in being both cheap and stupid. Sure, it is great to try to save a little dough rather than restructuring Norman's salary into bonus money on next year's cap. But attempting to save said dough, in this situation, comes at the cost of a potential draft pick or young asset you could get in a trade for a restructured Norman. Moreover, unless a team is foolish enough to take on the burden of his salary, then being stingy outright prevents positive roster moves.

Yes, this season is lost for the Redskins. But such reluctance to make moves that benefit the team because they mean spending money? That mentality spells dooms the Redskins in the future. No wonder that franchise is awful virtually every season.

I’ve always viewed game threads as a way for everyone to blow off steam, cuss out players, refs, coaches, etc. It’s a heat of the moment thing, and they are fun to go back and read. The post game threads are more for serious discussion

That fits with me
I'm a yeller at the TV guy

I have a hard enough time trying to decipher what is actually happening during a game...posting here at the same time is not possible for me.

Imagine of we had the will and cap space to get OJ Howard and Trent Williams......

The Redskins following the Bengals in being cheap and stupid? Oh, no, the Redskins are the drummer every other cheap and stupid team marches behind.
