We absolutely have to keep spies in to keep Jackson from running. As a thrower, he is an interception waiting to happen.

You can absolutely count on one big trick play coming. Harbawl has never forgotten the eligible/ineligible receiver trick that caught him with his pants down. Been nursing a grudge for a long time.

Eh yes and no, they’ve improved from that playoff loss vs the chargers last year. He’s a better passer but he’s no 2012 flacco. On defense they’ve got some veteran players in Earl Thomas and They drafted a decent corner out of Alabama in marlon Humphrey. Terrell Suggs is long gone though. Thank god

If this game is decided by 3pts to win, aka: the kicker, Patriots are in trouble....
On PATSFANS, the Patriots are ALWAYS in trouble.

team should host an open tryout day at kicker, and see if any average joe locals got anything

Reminder that these Browns smoked the Ravens in Baltimore. Yes, any given day, matchups, etc, but it happened.

I would love to win next week and we will can go all out to do so. That said, the Shaq Mason types are I would keep home. With the fact that bye a after that we can might look a lot better after the game bye if the walking wounded get a few weeks off here.

Or, stick with Nugent as he’s been ok in games played under normal conditions.

No way, IMO, eventually they are going to need a kicker who can make a kick that is longer than 30 yards. I don’t understand why they chose him in the first place, unless Bailey is secretly practicing to be their long distance FG kicker. He was a top rated kicker (and punter) in HS.

You have to see him kick in person to appreciate how TINY he is.

I would find a good kicker on a bad team and see if they would take a 6th round pick. They might, not many kickers are drafted. We have to do better than this.

Where do you finder a kicker now?

Will be a good game. This will far and away be the best offense we have face all year. Though it is fairly predictable. This is going to be a fun game to talk about.

This is the game where we get to see just how good the defense is. Our offense needs to have their best game of the year. I expect that has a good chance to happen.

They chose him because most kickers are up and down - and those who were available were worse than the ones that were employed. He has experience.

Fans actually think BB is just « choosing to not sign a fantastic available kicker for fun » ?

The ravens suck.

Bait Jackson to pass with a lot of run home heavy looks, spy on him and then play the odds that he cant play a perfect game.
Agreed. I do think this is definitely the toughest test of the season so far, which isn’t saying a lot. But while the offense is making small steps it is still a work in progress.

Should be a very interesting game, primarily how our defense does with Jackson. They should stifle him, we’ll see.

The Ravens are currently 25th in sacks & McPhee (2nd in sacks with 3 sacks) is on IR. The offense has a chance to have a pretty good game

Ravens smoked Seattle in Seattle. They have a bye to rest and prepare. That defense is licking its chops watching this Pats Oline. Its gonna be ugly down there next Sunday night.

Jackson presents special problems. TBH, he has had more NFL success than I thought. He is not just a running QB, he is the best running QB in the league. You think you have him stopped and he can create plays with his feet. If you lose contain, it is not just for a first down, but he might be in the end zone getting congratulations.

Ravens get a second chance to end their undefeated season.
