Wes

who's this deion branch you mention?

Although I absolutely worship Welker, when #83 pops into my head, Branch's face is still on it.

Hopefully that'll change as the season progresses.

Who mentioned Deion Branch? Who is he?:bricks:

Re: When you think of the #83 of the Pats....

Before the season began I thought of Deion (unfortunately). Now, I think of the better player.

Re: When you think of the #83 of the Pats....

Wes Welker, get him the ball! WES WELKER! GET HIM THE BALL!!

Re: When you think of the #83 of the Pats....

I till think Deion, but I am starting to think Welker a little more every game.

I still think of Deion and was disappointed to see him go, but I absolutely loved the trade that bought Welker to the Pats. I watched him in several games and the guy is just like one of those bugs in Cleveland just buzzing around annoying the other team. He is another blue collar type of player that fans in New England can relate to.

Just bought a Welker Jersey and received it Saturday night. That must have helped his impressive performance. I won't forget Branch and the things he did, but Welker has so much character and is a lot of fun to watch.

Branch, but Welker is catching up.

Branch's performances in SB38, AFCCG vs. Pitt and SB39 will always be remembered very fondly, despite the later holdout.

Regards,
Chris

was 83 the number deion wore? i dont remember...

however, i like the improved player that is playing that role rit now...

welker over deion all day, though i didnt like how the situation turned out

Branch. Him and Givens were too of my favorite players.

I still think of Branch from time to time when I see the 83 jersey but since Welker's wearing it now he's who I think of most. Really, I think of Welker all the time.....got kind of a man crush on him

When I think of Welker I think of an NBA point guard like John Stockton or Steve Nash. Great feet, quick, great hands, can change direction on a dime, knows how to use his body to get in position, etc.

I have a mancrush on him too. I'm hoping Tom doesn't get jealous.

I genuinely never think of Branch at all until I'm reminded of him somehow.
